Indian currency may not be higher than the currency in most countries, but it is indeed higher than that of some countries. You may have wondered which country should you plan your next vacation to, when you've been a little tight on your budget. Or you probably are just curious to know what are the countries that have a lower currency than India. Before the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, you may even have had made plans to visit some beautiful countries, those plans which were or are cancelled now.

You may have dreamt or wished to take a vacation in other countries, the thought of the higher currency may have been the reason why you withdrew from those plans. But guess what? There are still many countries you could have a great deal of fun in without worrying too much about your budget. Fret not, once this is all done with- you could still take a break from life and have a little time to yourself despite not having a high budget.

Here is some information about 8 countries with a currency that is lesser than India's -

1. Nepal

1 Indian Rupee = 1.60 Nepalese Rupee.

Nepal is a country in South Asia that lies along the southern slopes of the Himalayas and is enclosed by India on its south, east and west. To its north, is the Tibet and the capital of Nepal is Kathmandu.
