8 Ideas for a Small Job

We all have free time with us but the final say on whether to waste it or utilize it rests with you. And if you are thinking of doing something as a side hustle to earn a little amount of money, then it all comes down to one point- your needs and your skills.

You do know that; you need the internet to start making money. It doesn’t matter where you live or what you do. You can improve your skills by learning anything on the internet. In this era of the digital world, there are thousands of opportunities waiting for you.

I have listed some of the strategies for making money, but some will be a quick fix, and some will take time. It depends on what you need, and choose the ones that fit you best. But make sure that you deliver what was promised. It can even change from side hustle to the main job.

1. Manage Social Media Account for Small Business

There are many small businesses out there who need people to manage their social media. Maybe they don’t have the time or the expertise to do that job. You can reach out to them and offer them your services.

You have to handle their social media or maybe multiple platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Snapchat. You can charge a monthly fee for your services. This can be an easy way to make money just by sitting at home.

2. Tutor With Over Skype

During this pandemic, all the schools and colleges are closed, and home tuition is also not available at this moment. This is a bad situation, but you can look at it as an opportunity. You can tutor-student over Skype, no matter where you live.

It can be a good chance for you rather than looking for a job in the local market. You can target countries like the US and UK if you are living in ASIA because of the low cost of living. The minimum salary or a week’s salary in the UK or the US can be compared to a monthly stipend in ASIA.

3. Get a Part-Time Job

Okay, maybe you already have a job, but after you get home, there is still some time left. And perhaps you are not making enough money from your day job. You can start part-time working online, but if you are not comfortable or familiar with the digital world, then look for a job in your area.

You may have to disconnect with your social life or stop spending your free time, but by using that time to do something effective, you can earn a lot, and you may enjoy financial freedom in the future.

4. Create an Online Course

If you have some skill and experience in any of the Software or on any platform, then you can even start your online courses. You have platforms like Udemy or Skillshare, where you can interact with your students. You can sell your courses on these platforms which pay a good amount of money depending on your sale.

But know that sales depend on how you market your product and how much time do you invest. Creating a good and educational course can help in generating a good amount of revenue, but it can also add value to your teaching skills.

5. Write an EBook

You have a talent in storytelling, or maybe when you were a child, you wanted to be a writer, so this can be an excellent opportunity to live the dream. You have multiple platforms where you don’t have to worry about publication or printing those books.

You just have to create an account on kindle and just write your story or publish your novel without spending any amount of money.

6. Create a YouTube Tutorial

This isn’t the quickest way to make money, but it can turn from a part-time job to a full-time job anytime. Start making small tutorials or simple tricks that can help your audiences. You just focus on creating original work.

You can even promote other products or get sponsorship while making those videos. You get a good amount of side income, but it can also help you to increase your audience base.

7. Sell Technical Services on Upwork

Just like Fiverr, it is also a great platform for freelancing, but it’s much more professional. You can even hire accountants, lawyers, and other professionals for your work. So, you have a chance to work as a freelancer if anyone is looking for that kind of person to hire. Click here to look at other websites just like Upwork.

8. Write Resumes

Suppose you are good at presenting or writing your resume and know what works and whatnot. Then you have a chance to use your skill to make money. If you go for an interview, you need an outstanding resume to stand out and even on job finding platforms like Linkedin.

You can advertise your skills on LinkedIn and other professional sites, and then you can land a lot of clients. And once they are impressed, then maybe they will recommend you to someone.

So keep learning, whatever job you are in. And always remember to enjoy that free time because money may be important, but to what extent. We all are doing that to be happy and fulfill our needs, so do that by spending that time with your close ones.
