An American entrepreneur-
‘Steve jobs’ was adopted by Paul and Clara jobs. He achieved success with a
unique journey. There were so many ups and downs in his life and the way he
tackled the pangs and toils make him remarkable and versatile.
“The people who are crazy enough to think they
can change the world are the ones who do’’ this quotation somehow defines his
roller coaster career life.
Childhood
During his childhood he loved
to do lots of pranks, as he came to know that he was adopted and was bullied by
his school friends, he converted his terrified feelings in to braveness.
He said that he was a special
person and happy with his biological parents. He accepted his adoptive parents
with devotion.
Teenage
Steve jobs wanted to find his
purpose of life for that he visited India and meet some monks and finally he
found the right spiritual monk (Neem Karodi baba). By taking drugs during his teenage,
he said that he became more creative.
He would not take bath for
weeks as he reasoned, being a vegetarian, as he said to his peers.
Two Steve’s
Today Apple inc. exists because
of Steve jobs, although, Apple 1 was invented by Steve Wozniak. Steve Wozniak was
one of the hobbyists, who didn’t know how to built a company, he was not
interested in the business aspects and liked to stick with technology.
Steve Jobs was a good friend of
Wozniak who introduced his technology to the world and created an organization.
Start-up Stage
Steve Jobs was a college drop-out and wanted to create an organization with the invention of Apple1 by Steve Wozniak. Jobs started his company in his father’s garage and tried to build it and he achieved success.
On April 1, 1976 Apple computer
was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. Wayne, who worked at
Atari as a chief draftsman, agreed to become co-founder of the company in
return for 10% stake.
Organization
After receiving success, he
started to work on different projects such as Lisa, Apple 2 and Mac. He visited
Xerox Parc to make his inventions more powerful.
He payed a visit to John
Sculley the Chief executive of Pepsi-co company and tried to convince him to
join the apple inc. , Moreover ,he mesmerise him with his starring look and a
dialogue which was “ do you want to sell this sugar water for lifetime or you
want to sell the future’.
Many employees were against
Jobs because of his nature. He was behaving like a manic, he blasphemed many
employees and said that there work was a piece of shit. Because of this
behavior board of directors created a conspiracy to fire him, however, he
continued with his behavior and was later mustered off his official duties.
Down's of Life
It was the stage where job’s
was fighting with himself because he was removed by his own company.
Afterwards, he started his second company PIXAR, he created his first animated
movie ‘A Toy Story’ with the help of the Disney company.
He achieved success but also
suffered from financial instability. He continued his work and meanwhile Apple
was suffering from losses. The stock prices of Apple were decreasing day by
day.
Restoration
Steve Jobs was invited to
become the CEO of the Apple inc. by the board members because they were
undergoing severe losses: he refused because he wanted to focus on Pixar.
Afterwards, he agreed to rejoin Apple, however, he wanted to work with his peculiar
style.
Members agreed, and on the very
first day he took the resignations of the company board members. He worked hard
and focused on Pixar as well as Apple. Due to this overload of work, he
suffered from health issues. Job’s second coming at Apple raised the stock
prices in 1997.
Instead of working on too many
projects, he focused on four important projects i.e. Ipad, Iphone, Ipod, and
Macbook. He also received success in the retail business of Apple stores. He
controlled piracy scams.
The company reached the top in
Silicon Valley after Job’s second coming because he introduced great inventions
with his mesmerizing stage performances. He ran ‘Think Different’ campaign that
boosted employee performances.
Cancer
Steve Jobs suffered from cancer
which he tried to hide from the people, but unfortunately, he failed. Many people
were afraid because they would soon lose their mentor, a great leader, a
genius, a father figure and a hero.
Some-how he dodged the bullet
and was cured by the doctors; however, he rejoined office and started to focus
to create a legacy. Meanwhile he found Tim Cook who was good in his work and
had the talents to be a CEO.
Alas! On 5th of October
2011 at Palo Alto in the United States, Jobs died at the age of 56 after
battling pancreatic cancer for nearly a decade.
