Dance is one of the beautiful art forms where we can express our emotions/ ideas through our movements. One should be blessed to be able to dance. Being a dance lover
1.Tell us more about
your background and journey.
I was born & raised up in Hyderabad. My parents are
government employees. I have an elder sister who’s married and have a son. I
have done my schooling in St. Ann’s Girls High School, my intermediate in
Sri Chaitanya Junior Kalasala and my B.Tech in Mallareddy Engineering College
For Women, passed out in 2017.
I love to sing, dance and play basketball.
I love to sing, dance and play basketball.
I was trained in
Kuchipudi Dance for 7 years and Carnatic Music for 4 years. I was also trained
in Basketball and played for State and National Level Competitions.
2.
When did you first decide you wanted to pursue dancing and how did you start?
I have given many stage
performances and participated in few TV shows when I was a kid. Ever since, I
was very passionate about Dance. Later I had shown my interest on singing and
joined singing classes in my Btech. I have managed both singing and dancing
simultaneously. In our B.Tech days, we have many cultural events happening and
that’s where it all started.
We started shooting our performances whenever we
used to Dance for any of our college fests. I used to upload all the videos on
my Social Media Handles. And Of course, who doesn’t like compliments? My friends
used to shower lots of love and make me sit on top of the tower.
3.
What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?
I created my profile on
Instagram when I was in my Intermediate. But I had always put my account on
private. One day in my B.Tech, I have uploaded a dance video which I had shot in
our college rest room and made my profile public. That’s where my journey started
and my passion towards dance increased to infinity. From then, I have keep on
uploading all my video including Dance, Singing, Imitation, Mimicry
etc.
4.
Is it financially sustainable to be an influencer today?
I don’t think so. The algorithms don’t be the same every
time. In my view, I feel it’s us who needs to be very creative and self
motivated regardless of the profits/ non profits.
5. Can you throw some light on opportunities one gets as a dancer?
Dance is one of the
beautiful art forms where we can express our emotions/ ideas through our
movements. One should be blessed to be able to dance. Being a dance lover, I
get inspired from people who are very passionate about dance.
We get to conduct
workshops for people who love dancing, we can interact with people, we get to
give auditions for TV shows, we get name & fame and of course we can earn
too etc. When you dance you can enjoy the luxury of being you. Why not give a
chance to yourself to be a better version of you.
6. What piece of advice
would you like to give to future and aspiring artists?
All I want to tell is, we all have only one life. Believe in
yourself and try to achieve whatever you wish for. Life in so unpredictable, so
cherish every moment. ✨
