Food and Its Making Is an Art and Working With This Art Gives Me Immense Happiness - Ayesha Arobee

A passion turned part-time profession - Story of a food blogger. The love I have for food led me to food blogging also the encouragement I got from my mom & a few of my friends to write about food.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I always had a passion for food & loved how every item was so different from the other. Thus 2 years ago, I started my food blog feed on Instagram and Facebook and I have been nothing but grateful ever since. I never thought it would grow so big over time.

2. What led you to do food blogging?

The love I have for food led me to food blogging also the encouragement I got from my mom & a few of my friends to write about food. Food isn't just something which you have to fills up your hunger. Food and how its made is considered as Art in my perspective. Being able to work with Art every day of my life gives me immense happiness.

3. What does your typical day looks like?

My typical day firstly starts with classes at university, then I am a home tutor to 4 students, then I come home and catch up on assignments and I spend time making food-based content mostly on weekends. No matter what I do or how hectic my weeks become I always figure out a way to save time for food.

4. When did you first decide that you wanted to create and write content about food i.e. for blogging?

I decided that in 2018. I knew I wanted to give food a different space dedicated to food solely.

5. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

I associate myself a lot with salads, I'm talking about grilled chicken salad, tangy Thai papaya salad because they are different, refreshing and always good.

6. Which is your favourite book and why?

The Alchemist by Paul Cohelo. It is very realistic and relates to a lot of aspects of life.
