Impact of Food on Health

Good health is like a crown on the head of a healthy person that only a sick
person can see. When we talk about health platforms, there are too many
options in mind and conversely, we don’t have any idea.

Who is your "Fitness Model’’ ? Do you have a strategic plan in order to take
care of your health? A plan relieves you of the torment of choice. There
should be a proper health plan and a diet plan to be followed by each one of
us.

Diet:

Nowadays it is challenging to maintain a diet because there are some
companies with junk food that is frequently available in the market. It is too
attractive and captivates us towards them. They serve delicious meals but
it's not good for the health.

It is essential to maintain the rhythm of the body to be a healthy person and
junk food takes away lots of energy to digest.

Indians follow their diet which comes from their ancestors. The Indian thali
is a complete diet which a person should have and need. The Indian thali
contains chapatti, daal, rice, veggies, buttermilk, curd, dessert, pickle, and
few more.

Indian thali is a complete package that contains vitamins, carbohydrates,
fats, minerals, proteins and many more nutrients as needed by our body.

Junk Food:

People suffer from malnutrition and obesity because of junk foods, hence,
avoiding junk food will solve more than half of the problem. Unfortunately,
many children are trapped by the organizations through marketing policies
which cause a negative effect in a child’s mind.

Junk food not only harms physically, but it also attacks mental stability.
Recent research suggests that after having junk food, people are lax and
forlorn, they are not willing to work and they feel too lazy.

Many writers have come up with the word ‘couch-potato’ which defines that
children are too lazy and looks like a potato seating on the couch. Many
people watch movies and eating junk food while seating on the couch or a
bean bag, these unhealthy habits makes them dull.

Without a proper diet and workout, they lose their imagination power and
became less innovative. They are unable to focus, concentrate, or even
communicate.

These may also affect the future generations because the current population
are unhealthy and in turn, they might pass this as a hereditary to their
children.

Focus:

Many countries are too focused about their population and hence, they have
imposed a law that states that a person should serve the army for at least
two years to be in society. If one refuses to serve the army or refuses the
training, then he/she will be punished.

It sounds a good notion and practically possible to be imposed in every
nation. However, in many schools, they are not focusing on sports and other
exercises. Instead, to cover the portions of the subject, the teachers and
professors snatch sports sessions.

After completing schooling, students are not as flexible and they are under
the heavy burden of the studies. Focusing on the job and business, they are
unable to spend time at the gym and there is a fast-growing of age.

People start to suffer from diseases because they end up not taking their
health seriously. Hence, my friend, don’t take the casual approach to life,
casualness leads to casualties.

Discipline:

The discipline of meditation exercise and diet is necessary, without this, it is
an impossible task to conquer mind, body and soul. Health and food include
following a proper yogic diet, a sattvic diet and yogic culture. Following basic
breathing exercises will also help to live a meaningful life.

Life should be meaningful rather than just being happy. Constantly eating
fried food, junk food, will definitely make us happy, but we will end up living
an unhealthy lifestyle.

However, having good food, good body structure, mental stability, wisdom,
knowledge, discipline, success will lead to a meaningful life.

Needless to say, it is easy to choose between these two, but to implement and
to inculcate in mind is quite a task. Most people want to live a meaningful
life but working on that path is a challenging job.

Do Cheat but Be Responsible:

Moreover, cheating or having unhealthy foods sometimes in lesser quantity
doesn’t affect, people can take a chance, as many find it challenging to completely avoid it.

Real success is not about prestige, power, or status. It is about
responsibility. Your schedule is the best barometer for what you truly value
and believe to be important. Top athletes know that practice is how you get
to greatness.

In conclusion, this very day can be the first day of your new life. It’s all your
choice. Just remember, every time you say ‘yes’ to something unimportant,
you say ‘no’ to something important.

Be healthy mentally, physically, and spiritually, this will catapult one into the
big league. Working on sports, workout, calisthenics, palliates, martial arts,
yoga, cycling, walking, swimming, running and more is a must. Doing at least
one of these activity per day can help you lead a healthy and happy life.
