Some people judge and predict if a movie is going to be a blockbuster or a flop based on the songs present in the movie. 1. Armaan Malik
Armaan Malik is an Indian singer, songwriter, actor, performer and a music producer who rose to fame following his popular song “Tumhe Apna Banane Ka” he recorded for the movie ‘Hate Story 3’.
He not only sings songs in Hindi but also in Telugu, Tamil, English, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Malayalam and also Assamese. He has been the finalist (at the age of eight) in a ZEE TV, music competition show, named, SaReGaMaPa Lil Champs.
He made it to the big screen at the age of 18 with the hit “Tumko to Ana Hi Tha”, in the Salman Khan Starrer “Jai Ho”. And the one song that got him unimaginable love and respect from the industry and listeners was, “Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon”.
Along with his brother, he carried the entire album of “MS Dhoni- The Untold Story” and they did a commendable job and got album was a big hit. In January 2020, his song “ButtaBomma” garnered 360 million views on YouTube and around 13 million Spotify streams.

Darshan Raval, an Indian singer, composer, actor and lyricist, comes from Ahmedabad, India whose first appearance on-screen was in the reality show, named, “India’s Raw Star” (2014).
His first independent song during India’s Raw Star was, “Meri Pelhi Mohabbat”, which gained immense popularity and took him one step further in achieving his dreams, it put him on the path to fame.
He started his career in Bollywood by recording song for Salman khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which, granted him his first bout mainstream attention. But still, Darshan was more into releasing independent songs, “Tera Zikr”, his first independent song was a big hit with over 191 million views on YouTube.
Now all his songs- be it independent or Bollywood is a big hit. This 24-year-old mega-celebrity is a big hit machine, there’s something peculiarly tranquil about him, about his songs that made him what he is today.
3. Shirley Setia
Shirley Setia, a singer and actress from Auckland, who got featured in the Forbes Magazine, was referred to as, “Bollywood’s Next Big Singing Sensation” and recently made her debut in a Netflix film called Masaka.
She eventually started her career by posting home-made videos on YouTube. She makes cover songs which are posted on her YouTube account.
She gained the popularity after she won the competition of singing the cover of Hindi song, Tum Hi Ho, she not only won the competition but also earned a lot of views on all her YouTube uploads.
She recorded that song while wearing pyjamas, and after the success of video she was even labelled ”The Pajama Popstar”.
The 22-year-old Indo-Kiwi singer performer, had all of us get mesmerized by her beautiful voice and charming smile. At such a young age she had made a name for herself that too in a few years and today she is a much-loved performer who has a long way to go.
4. Palak Muchhal
Palak Muchhal is an Indian playback singer, who has made us all fall in love with her beautiful voice. She has got the sweetest voice in the music industry.
She has rendered her voice in many Hindi films such as Ek Tha Tiger, Ashiqui 2, M.S Dhoni, Baaghi 2 and many more.
Her first super hit song was, “Chahun Main Ya Na”, from Ashiqui 2, but her rendition of the song “Kaun Tujhe” from the movie “M.S Dhoni- The Untold Story” has earned her much praise and love from her fans as well as prominent personalities in the music industry.
Palak recently has raised funds through her charity shows which have helped to save lives of 2200 children who are suffering from heart diseases.

5. Siddharth Mahadevan
Siddharth Mahadevan, is an Indian film composer, singer and lyricist. Son of popular musician ‘Shankar Mahadevan’, has set his foot strong in the music industry.
He has lent his voice for songs like “Zinda” from Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, “Malang” from Dhoom 3, “Teen Gwah” from Mirzya and all these songs were a big hit.
He made it big in 2013 with the rock version of the title track “Zinda” in “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag”, which gained him love and respect from the fans as well as the music industry.
