5 Unanswered Questions We Need An Answer To In Mirzapur Season 3

Mirzapur season 2's climax ending left us wanting for more. The Pankaj Tripathi-starrer has been nothing short of an absolute thriller. There were multiple characters in the story, and each character had their important roles and stories. There was hardly any character whose arc could be said to be complete. Some died, and some killed. All this left a lot of questions in our minds. Let us look at these burning questions.

(Spoiler alert: The following article has major spoilers. Read it only if you have finished watching season 2)

Is Chote Tyagi Dead?

We see that one of the twins is dead during the crossfire between the Tyagi family and Mama. Dadda believes it is the older one, and even the surviving brother confirms his identity as Bade Tyagi. But in the post-credits scene, we see Bade Tyagi (maybe) struggle to play with his ring. This is unusual for him since, in the series, he fiddles with it with comfort.

Could it be that it is actually Chote Tyagi who survived and Bade died? That would explain the struggle while playing with the ring. If that is the case, it would be interesting to see how he pretends to become his elder brother in the third season. Dadda's reaction would also be priceless if he somehow uncovers the truth.

What Happens to Kaleen Bhaiya?

In the last episode, we see that Kaleen Bhaiya was shot multiple times. Guddu and Golu had already shot Munna, and as soon as they started approaching Kaleen Bhaiya, multiple bullets are fired. Sharad sends his gang to go all-out on Guddu and Golu. In the crossfire, Sharad rescues the unconscious Kaleen Bhaiya and is seen to be taking him somewhere in his car as the scene ends.

Our guess is that Sharad is taking him to the hospital to get his bullet wounds treated. It could be a political move to become Kaleen's closest aide since the don really has no one left to trust. With Kaleen injured, Sharad would be hoping to become his proxy and rule Mirzapur and Jaunpur.

Who Is Robin's Mother, and Is She Dead/Alive?

In all the scenes that feature Robin, he mentions his mother. But the interesting thing is she is a different character altogether he tells her story to other people. He goes to the extent to say that she is dead in front of Guddu. However, he asks his girlfriend, Dimpy, to meet her. We can assume that he is not lying to Dimpy, who he loves.

However, nothing can be said with certainty about Robin. He has been comic relief in this violence-laden and gory show. His famous dialogue, "Yeh Bhi Theek hai" has given birth to several memes on the internet.

Where Will Maqbool Go?

After Munna killed Maqbool's mother and nephew, he gets hell-bent on revenge. He makes up his mind to kill Bauji in cold blood. Even though he is not the one who pulls the trigger, Bauji is murdered. Now, the question is, will Maqbool stop here, or does he still have a vendetta against the Tripathi family?

One possibility is that his story arc is complete, and he won't be part of Mirzapur 3. He was already aging, and his lifelong service to the Tripathi clan has ended. However, to spice up things, the creators could make Maqbool a part of Guddu's campaign.

What Will Beena's Next Move Be?

If there is a character that has seen the most character development, it is Beena Tripathi. From being sexually assaulted by her father-in-law at the end of the first season to being the one to murder him with a hatchet in season 2, she has genuinely been the MVP.

She had struck a deal with Guddu that she would give him all the inside information of the Tripathis. In return, Guddu would rule over Mirzapur till Beena's son comes of age and sits on the throne. But now, there is a change of variables.

With Munna dead, there is no heir to Mirzapur except Beena's son. So, the throne will come to him naturally without the help of Guddu. So, Beena could still play the faithful wife to Kaleen Bhaiya and still get what she desires the most: her son to be Mirzapur's next king.

For now, Amazon has not confirmed season 3. But, with the phenomenal popularity of Mirzapur, we are sure to get a season 3. We hope the questions we addressed today are answered to our satisfaction.
