90's Kids vs Kids Today: How Time Changes Generations

There are huge differences between kids belonging to the 90's and the current ones. Generations passed on the upgrade in lifestyle and challenges have increased. People from 80's were different from the 90's and the people belonging to the 90's are different from today.

Children were majorly focused to solve the problems related to their needs to make their living prosperous in the 90's and conversely, today’s children try to analyze new problems and solve them to be innovative. Today’s children accept changes and adjust themselves in modern lifestyles.

Lets Talk About Technology:

As we know, technology, modern and specialized computers, gadgets and other gimmicks have become an addiction for kids. The paradox of our current generation is that kids are connected electronically rather than emotionally, while comparatively, 90s kids have enjoyed moments and created memories.

More so today, it’s an arduous task for children to learn new technology where modernization and digitalization are throwing difficult questions.

Many applications and online courses are available online for kids to learn coding and new technology so that they can compete with others in future by launching new innovative things.

Qualities Matter:

90's kids were focused on contribution and teamwork rather than competition. Schools have different courses which helped them to be well-disciplined and organized. They learnt the qualities of sharing, caring for others, and communications in social gatherings.

The basics of the reading, writing and arithmetic have been inherited in 90s kids so that they have been found good in numbers and real-life experiences. According to the recent research conducted in Finland by Karl Rabader, 90 kids students have a good IQ level compare to today’s kids.

Issues That Cannot Be Ignored:

Moreover, today’s generations are enjoying more flexibility and as a result, they are suffering from malnutrition and obesity. They don’t focus on their physical health. The flexibility in school timings, online classes, and study from home changed the whole scenario from which they have lost their freedom.

The children are so much so addicted to smartphones, they are just forgetting real games. They are spending their money on games and smartphones for happiness although they can help others with that money.

They are chasing their happiness in terms of money, success, fame, which was common in 90’s kids, but they were also trying to make their life meaningful rather than just being happy.

Some challenges in 90’s helped them to the catapult into the big league but nowadays some inventions are misused so much that it is becoming a curse for the current kids.

Today’s children have almost everything to live a good life but still, they are unable to develop innovative ideas because they chase their happiness in smartphones.

The pleasure of reading books, playing sporty games, listening to radios, listening to good and clear songs helped 90’s kids to be more creative and to find the solution of problems based on real life.

Uses and Misuses of Technology:

The pleasure of reading books, playing sports and other activities were all replaced by modern gimmicks. PlayStation and smartphones replaced physical activities and audiobooks and online books replaced the pleasure of reading books.

To know the real world it is essential to be in contact with each other, even though, social sites and other applications have failed to connect the feelings of each other.

Many researchers found that most children from the 90's were even-tempered, focused, had patience, and had a passion to contribute something to society. Furthermore, new equipment and easy availability of resources made today’s kids lax and forlorn.

Clarity in Mindsets:

All in all, children's from the 90's have managed their life electronically, mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially. Today’s kids are on their way of progress, they are more focused on innovation, however, that is the principle for growth and development.

To avoid obesity and malnourishment children are taking membership of gyms, nutrition institution, organic stuff and much more.

Greed Is Not Good:

We have food for everyone but the greed of today’s kids is increasing because of corruption and other crimes so that they are trained to be more and more greedy. It is also significant to be competitors to achieve their desired target and goals which today’s kids are aspiring for.

90’s children were prepared to take responsibility of others and themselves because they were informed that they have to start their family and to get married at an early age. Due to less restriction, many kids have developed the gullible and other qualities that made them hopeless.

Accepting more and more from children by parents diverted 90’s kids from their studies, conversely, today’s kids have no such restrictions, instead some tend to blame their parents for not parenting them in a right way.
