Kamaljeet Rana - Acting Is a Powerful Medium, It Allows Me to Experience Someone Else's Life (Actor)

My experience working on 21 sarfarosh was not so good and not so bad. My co-actors were just amazing, hard-working and patient. The people who were handling the production gave us hard time and were making it difficult for us to work happily.

I am a very patient person and a good actor to work with But I lost my patience on so many occasions

Tell us something about your background and journey.

I am from Delhi. I did my graduation from Dehradun. I worked as a software engineer for 3 years and then moved to Mumbai. Now I am in love with Mumbai and can't think of settling anywhere else. Since 2013 I am into acting and May 2020 I started my youtube channel "Kamaljeet Rana".

I have learned so much through my experiences and I will continue to learn. I have always had the support of my family.

Why did you choose acting as your career?

Acting as a career became serious in 3rd year of engineering, But I did not quit engineering. I finished my education, worked as a software engineer and then when the time felt right, I came to Mumbai. Acting is a powerful medium, It allows me to experience someone else's life which is a great feeling.

What is your youtube page all about?

My Youtube page is about my world. My Family. I am still exploring. I would soon start riding as I recently bought Royal Enfield.

I also started a series to help people who want to get into acting. YouTube has also given me a plan B as you can't just rely on Acting.

How was your experience with the movie "21 Sarfarosh Saragarhi 1897"?

My experience working on 21 sarfarosh was not so good and not so bad. My co-actors were just amazing, hard-working and patient. The people who were handling the production gave us hard time and were making it difficult for us to work happily.

I am a very patient person and a good actor to work with But I lost my patience on so many occasions.

What advice you would like to give to the future aspiring artists?

My advice is to do what makes you happy. Keep your mind open, learn, observe and be humble. Always be better than yesterday.

Which is your favourite book and why?

My Favourite book is The Fountain Head by Ayn Rand. It changed my life. It was my first book and was very challenging. After that, I finished all of Ayn Rand's book. The second Favourite is the epic Mahabharata.
