Aditya Kumar Pani - An Actors Life Is Always Challenging And Uncertain But I Enjoy It (Actor)

Aditya Kumar Pani

The day when you will get to know yourself fully and explore yourself completely that day the world will be your stage and you will become an extraordinary actor with natural human feelings in everything.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

As like millions of Indian, I also come from a middle-class family where the father is a govt. Employee and mother is a housewife. No one in my family has ever been to the entertainment industry.

When I was in school I used to do plays and that interest grew gradually with time and I started doing plays and mono act in university. My confidence boosted that day when I won the best actor award in my department and student of the year title that year in my engineering college.

When people recognise your talent and applause for yourself it means a lot for an individual one, especially for an artist. My sister's job posting was in Mumbai, so I got a chance to come to Mumbai and learn more about acting and could work in the entertainment industry. It's all God's grace.

I got such opportunities and he has made such a road map for me.

After coming to Mumbai I did my diploma in acting. Apart from this, I am a trained martial artist and gymnast also. My sister always supports me, even my father and mother supports me indirectly.

I started my acting career with television daily soap, it was a mythological show ( Sankat Mochan Hanuman in SONY TV) to many ads. Films and now working actively in Telugu cinema and Bollywood.

Currently working with Telugu famous director Puri Jagannadh sir in his next film which is a PAN India film where I will share the screen with Arjun Reddy’s famous actor Vijay Devarkonad and with Ananya Pandey also.

2. Did you ever think or dream of being an actor?

I enjoy creative things and acting is always a creative and self-exploration process. In my school days, I used to watch tv shows and movies so I had a wish to become a Hero who can do good things and obviously can get a heroine. HAHAHA.

But I never thought of becoming a film actor in multiple languages, I think it's all god's grace. In my family where parents think only doctors, engineers, IAS, IPS is only worth jobs and designation from that family thinking, I could make a new way in the entertainment industry, I think its a big deal for a middle-class family.

I could break the stereotype and I am happy about that. As an actor life is always challenging and uncertain but I enjoy it.

3. How can one approach their career and have the confidence and belief to become an actor?

First of all, Be a good human. I believe that a good human can become a good actor. Anyone can become an actor, it's a process of self-exploration. The much you will get to know yourself the much better you can perform. Acting is always natural with a human touch. Human feelings and emotions make it alive.

One should work on himself and on his craft by joining theatre or any workshop or group where you can get to know the actor within you.

The day when you will get to know yourself fully and explore yourself completely that day the world will be your stage and you will become an extraordinary actor with natural human feelings in everything.

Just have patience, give yourself time, have confidence and learn yourself and people.

4. If not this, what would you be doing?

If not this then I would be a full-time chef or a writer.

I love to write and like to cook different kinds of food. I really feel satisfied when I do something where creativity lies within. I like writing poetry. 2 novels and 1 poetry book of mine are set to publish next year. I like to write.

Some day in a part of life I will open a restaurant where I can explore my chef side fully. I have a youtube channel where I teach people about healthy cooking. So I would definitely work on it also.

5. For a complete outsider with inroads, what advice would you like to give?

Have faith in God, yourself and your craft. Work on yourself, you will get the thing that you want. I know that it will take time but you can make it happen. You are the one who can make it happen. Don't lose your focus, hurdles will come but you will succeed one day.

As you are an outsider you have many responsibilities so don't lose your focus and stay away from bad habits like drinking, smoking, anything that is bad for you. You are here to set an example to the next generation and millions of people who want to become an actor, so don't spoil that image. Set a milestone, not a bad image.

6. What is your mantra of success?

Hard Work, self-discipline, faith in God and blessings of elders and parents, this is my success mantra.

Don't think bad and don't do bad to anyone. Always work on yourself and craft and pray to god.

7. Which is your favourite book and why?

Bhagavad Gita is my fav. Book because it makes me closer to myself and I could explore myself more. It could make me more spiritual and turn me into a good human being. I recommend everyone to read this book. It will answer your every question and it will make you closer to the truth.
