Ashish Sharma - After Winning Mr Rajasthan My Interest in This Very Field Deepened Which Pushed Me to Go and Try Something New (Mr Rajasthan 2014)

It started was with the thing when I first took a baby step into this very field of name and fame by winning Mr Rajasthan (2014) which was like a stepping stone to my journey and which added acceleration to my this journey and later adding to various things like modelling, tv commercial, magazine shoot, theatre, ramp shows, calendar shoot and the list is endless and I am still, trying to be better at each and every step

Tell us more about your background and journey.

As everyone has a background and a journey, I too have my own personal journey full of sweet and bitter experiences. I come from a very humble family and have made and created my own path since day one.

All it started was with the thing when I first took a baby step into this very field of name and fame by winning Mr. Rajasthan (2014) which was like a stepping stone to my journey and which added acceleration to my this journey and later adding to various things like modelling, tv commercial, magazine shoot, theatre, ramp shows, calendar shoot and the list is endless and I am still, trying to be better at each and every step.

How and when you decided to be an Actor ( Theatre Artist) ?

“Rome was not built in a day”, similarly is my journey, all of it did not happen all at once. I have tried at every step of my life to come out of cushion cocooned life and challenge myself at every step.

After winning Mr Rajasthan my interest in this very field deepened which pushed me to go and try something new. As modelling industry often provides meagre opportunities for male models to establish so I thought to try my hands at theatre, so I went to Mumbai and learnt theatre for 4-5 years with Top Gurus in Town and groomed myself well, as a result, I am here today as a notch perfect man still striving for progress.

How was your experience as a Fashion Influencer?

Fashion plays a very pivotal role in everyone’s life. Fashion is not just about how you wear clothes or dress yourself up but for me its something bit more. It is how you carry yourself and project yourself in front of everyone.

It's about respecting others personal fashion sense and trying and experimenting something out of the box and setting a trend for everyone to follow by being confident, which I have done at every step by doing various ramp shows and walks for Bollywood designers.

Tell us about your experience in "Raja Beta"?

My role in Raja Beta was quite challenging as it was totally opposite of what I am in personal life. I played the role of a business tycoon which was of an extremely rude and tough guy being inflexible. But all this helped me to learn something new and challenge my innate capacities as a person and helped to polish my skills as an actor.

Also, I learnt the feeling of teamwork and team spirit working, with so many versatile people with immense talents and had a lot of fun and masti on sets during offshoot times.

What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring artists?

My piece of advice or golden mantra to the future and aspiring talents is first to recognize your strength by self-introspection and then try to work hard on it by polishing your skills and by making yourself perfect in that very field.

The quality of finesse and refinement can only be developed by never giving up the spirit and working hard endlessly as it is also said that “A man can do, what a man has done.”

Which is your favourite book and why?

Every book in itself teaches you something or the other thing. For me every book has its own importance but inspirational and motivational books are my first priority always.

Initially, I was a very shy, introvert kind of person. But one such book which changed my life after reading was “ How to Win and influence people” by Dale Carnegie. Its my personal recommendation if anybody gets time do read this book, as it has changed my life and holds the capacity to change the life of multitudes like me.
