Book Review - The Theory of Everything

Want to know the theories about the beginning of time? The theory of everything by Stephen Hawking is a perfect answer for all your doubts. The book was written in 2002. Through this novel Stephen Hawkings presents a new bold look towards the origin of space, different views on it , how universe works etc.

The book is divided into 7 chapters and each chapter describing a different theory.

Without their mathematical complexity each theory is described in a very simple language with just enough scientific logic to bac up his claim. The book is meant for all , not only for the ones who are studying physics but also for the ones who just knows knows enough basics to understand what he sayd.

A person with some knowledge about physics can understand the book easily. The author uses very easy examples to explain the gist of the process. The main purpose of the book is to create awareness amongst the people about these theories, many of them are still in debate but by getting a little understanding about these theories, we expand our horizon and learn so much that maybe some of us would not have ever studied.

The book touches some very new, undiscovered ideas about space . It talks about big bang theory, black holes, string theory , etc. and everything in this book is so fascinating and interesting .In just 150 pages the book gives an overview of how different scientists such as newton , Einstein , Chandrashekar etc. came up with different theories of about how things work in the space.

The reader can get overwhelmed because so much is expressed in just a few lines or pages. In the last Stephen Hawking also shared his vision of a unified theory explaining everything and he thinks it will be possible only when everyone will get to know about these theories and will work together.

I also think it is important , if these scientists are developing new theories, theories about our past , the available information is very little. These scientists have devoted their lives to unravel these mysteries and to increase their understanding of how universe works from a macro level so that we can create something that will be helpful in preserving mankind or will ease our lives .

I personally loved that book very much and would recommend the book for everyone who loves to know about space and different physics theories. Don’t worry you don’t have to be a Ph.D holder to understand the novel , just the basic concepts will help you to understand what he is trying to say.

A short novel with a bundle of important information -The theory of everything by Stephen Hawkings is a catch and one should not miss reading it.
