Whenever I thought of quitting something happens positively for me and that gave me the confidence to proceed further. One among that is Director Atlee called our team and appreciated our efforts and offered us to work in his film 'Bigil' but unfortunately I wasn't able to do because it was a one year journey and I too had some commitments since I was working in IT. So these are the things that boosted me up.
1. Tell us about your background and journey
I'm from a middle class family. I did my higher studies in B.Tech and worked in a IT company. For Seven years I did short films, cover songs and some pilot films. I had struggles passing through my way and I had a break through that I need to choose either It or Cinema where I choosed Cinema and completely left my IT job.
Before that I used to shoot throughout the whole day and do night shifts in the IT company. But now I'm completely a You tuber and get rid of my IT surroundings. I would also like to thank my parents who really supported me in building up my career. Normally most of the parents have the fear if their children does something that is out of education and they wouldn't want to take any chance or risk in their children s life.
So to get rid of that fear I need 4 to 5 videos to show it to my parents as a evidence that I'm travelling in the right path. These videos just gave them the hope but the fear continues to remain the same. In spite of their fear they had the faith in me and that is also one thing that makes me happy.
2. When did you decide that you wanted to create content and how did you start?
Frankly speaking I'm not aware of the medium called you tube and the commercials involved in it. The only thing in my mind was to entertain people through my acting. I just knew that through you tube we can collaborate with people and so on.
I just attended an audition in Chennai which is of the you tube platform and I wasn't aware of it before entering into it. Before that also I attended few auditions in Bangalore but this is my first audition that I did in Chennai. My friends Raja and Prabhu are the CEO of the channel Naakout.
As soon as I attended the audition they gave me the lead role in the series 'shy Boy' and that had a very good reach where I realized that you tube is also a platform where we can exhibit our acting talents. Till now I am not able to describe me as a you tuber.
3. What are the challenges that you face and how do you overcome it?
Before coming to Chennai, I used to do some videos in Bangalore and it also gained popularity and the views for my videos were tremendous. At that time I thought of quitting it because in spite of the views I didn't gain anything and aslo considering my family situation I was in the verge of doing that.
4. What was your expectation before starting your channel and how well did it turn up?
I can't say it as my expectations. I just wanted to deliver my videos to the people and entertain them. I just want to keep them entertaining. According to me I want to do my work correctly and to stay in the hearts of the audience with my acting.
5. What piece of advice would you like to give to the future and aspiring artists?
My thought would be "Create contents that gets connected to the people" because if you deliver your content which would be liked by all will surely give you a good reach and Do your work with discipline and just love your profession.
6. What would you like to say or share with your followers?
I don't want to describe them as followers. Till now I would like to thank them because they truly have a deep confidence in me and that's the thing which makes me feel scared in a view that I need to retain this trust in them for which I should never stop working for it.
