Her love for writing has turned into her profession with sheer hard work and dedication. She has interviewed almost every artist of the Bollywood film industry and continues to do so.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I am a post-graduate in journalism. Since, The time I can recall, I was always determined to be a journalist. After finishing my graduation in Mass media, I joined a Bollywood trade magazine - 'Super Cinema' which shaped my way further. I worked for a couple of years with the trade magazine.

Next, I ventured into mainstream Bollywood Magazine known as 'Cine Blitz' which was amongst the top Bollywood magazines. Currently, I am working as a Correspondent journalist at Bombay Times - The Times Of India.

By sheer hard work and determination, I have reached where I am in this industry at a very young age, and I feel immense gratitude towards it but it takes a lot more hard work to sustain where I am.

2. What is your opinion about press freedom in India?

I believe we have it better than most of the countries. But, There is always some scope for improvement.

3. Who is your favorite journalist and why?

I follow good journalism, Not a particular journalist. I feel we have had some really good journalists over the years and I am sure there are many currently doing a great job, But as I said, Good work is always highlighted.

4. What do you think about the quality of journalism in India and how can it be improved?

I believe we have it better than most of the countries. We have many Newspapers and News Channels  which are  transparent, real and are non-biased. And as I said earlier There is always some scope for improvement.

5. What is your message to all aspiring journalists?

Journalism is a job for those who want to tell some real-time stories, want to dig into matters, try and find out the unknown and if that's what drives you, this profession is where you belong. Gather all the courage, be focused, and be the quintessence of Journalism.

6. Which story that you have covered is what you're extremely proud of and remains the most memorable?

Well, I have had an opportunity to get in conversation with some amazing Bollywood artists, naming a few would be, Irrfan, Salman Khan, Nawazuddin  Siddiqui amongst several others.

What I am proud of is, last year I was invited to 'Bigg Boss 13' where there were other journalists too. The idea of it was asking some steaming questions to the contestants which I did and got a lot of good responses from the audience and the viewers of the show.

The reason being, it's not a cakewalk to be on television with known faces of the industry and ask them some difficult questions which could have repercussions. But nothing that sort happened and I enjoyed my fame while it lasted.

7. Which is your favorite book and why?

I enjoy reading thrillers and the stories that keep me on the edge. But recently, A book which took my mind off from the routine was 'Ikigai'. It's a feel-good book which makes you relax and think about yourself. I usually avoid inspirational books as I personally don't enjoy them but this one was different.
