Prakhar Shukla - I Got My First Assignment as a TVC With Shahid Kapoor

21 Sarfarosh was my first big break, where I played Lance Nayak Chaand Singh, and this series really brought a change in my personal and professional life both. It taught me a lot. It will always remain close to my heart.

1. Tell us something about your background and journey.

I am basically from Chhindwara Madhya Pradesh, I am an electronic engineer, I started my career after completing the engineering. I started as a ramp model and later shifted to Mumbai. 

I got my first assignment as a Tvc with Shahid Kapoor and things just started working after that.

2. Who inspired you to become a television actor?

So I am a die-hard fan of Ranbir Kapoor I still remember when his movie wake up Sid came I bought all the similar T-shirt he had on that film .

He is the one I guess who inspired me to become an actor.

3. How was your experience with '21 Sarfarosh'?

4. Tell us something about your role in 'Choti sardarni'?

Chhoti sardarni’s character was a grey shade and I loved doing it above all the characters I did till date because I had a lot to play with the character.

5. What kind of roles do you prefer on-screen?

I really respected the roles offered to me till date, but I will surely look for the challenging roles that will help in my growth as an actor.


6. What are the opportunities and projects are you looking for in the coming future?

I am surely looking for good concepts be it a series or a film.
