Prakriti Sharma - You Have To Believe In Yourself Before Anyone Else Can Believe In You (Actress)

I am a great believer of karma, what goes around will come back around. If you are a good person, most of the time good will come to you.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

My name is Prakriti Sharma and my father's name Mr Rajendra Sharma who is Advocate and my Mother's name Mrs Sheela Sharma who's run own school. I am from Shahdol (Madhya Pradesh) and live in Mumbai. 

My Qualification M. Sc. Computer Science. Firstly I started a job as a guest professor Govt. College Shambhu Nath Shukla University then I left the job and started fashion show. I started out training in acting in Indore(M.P.) and did lots of short films, Telefilm, lot's of Print Shoot, Fashion show, Ad shoot.


2. Did you ever think or dream of being an actor?

Yes, I had always wanted to be an Actor. I am proud of what I have accomplished so far on my journey. I can't see myself being happier doing anything else.


3. How can one approach their career and have the confidence and belief to become an actor? 

You have to believe in yourself before anyone else can believe in you. It's not always going to be easy. But you must carry on with unbreakable determination anyway.


4. If not this, what would you be doing?

If not this, I think I would be at a job in college as a professor and teaching the students. It's a great job.


5. What is your mantra of success?

I am a great believer of karma, what goes around will come back around. If you are a good person, most of the time good will come to you.


6. Which is your favourite book and why?

I read a lot of books but my favourite book is Elon Musk: Tesla, Space X and the quest for a fantastic future. 

I would also suggest everyone read this book because this book teaches to Go ahead in life.
