1. Tell us more about your company and your journey.
Perfect Plan B private limited is an E-learning company specialized in the Edutech industry. Currently, we are offering courses like Python, Machine Learning, Data structures, Data Science, Digital marketing and we have plans to introduce more courses in the near future.
We not only train students but also provide internships and industry placement. we are also looking towards global expansion. Although it was a challenge to quit my job and embrace Perfect Plan B fully as an Entrepreneur I could not have been happier.
It has been an immense learning experience with huge potential to harness my skills and each day is a new learning experience.
2. How did you come up with this idea and go about executing it?
My friend cum business partner came up with this idea and I was only too happy to join the Enterprise as a Director. I was totally in the sink with his vision for Perfect Plan B.
3. What are some of the most important factors for running a successful business?
A successful business starts with searching for a niche enterprise and studying market trends. Once you have decided on your enterprise you need to be consistent, work with integrity, work as per deadlines, deliver the things promised, study the competition, and be innovative as per changing trends.
It is equally important to learn from your setbacks and failures and use them as tools to propel growth. Customer satisfaction remains the USP of any successful business
4. How can entrepreneurs overcome funding and scaling up challenges?
Many startups like ours are self-funded. This makes for easy beginnings, overcoming obstacles of negotiations. I personally feel once you have achieved the first level of success scaling up is not much of a challenge as you are open to many opportunities.
5. Which is your favorite book and why?
My favorite book is Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom. It is the fascinating account of 14 days of interaction between the sociology Professor Morri who is dying of ALS disease and his student Mitch Albom.
There are so many life lessons to be learned from this book and I quote: “You can't substitute material things for love or for gentleness or for tenderness or for a sense of comradeship.
Money is not a substitute for tenderness, and power is not a substitute for tenderness. I can tell you, as I'm sitting here dying when you most need it, neither money nor power will give you the feeling you're looking for, no matter how much of them you have.”
― Mitch Albom, Tuesdays with Morrie
6. How do you define success for yourself & your business?
A successful business is one that can successfully deliver what it has promised. Further in order to be successful one needs to have a thorough knowledge of market needs and potential enterprises.
Needless to say, a successful business should be financially viable and make good profits which keep the management and the customers happy.
As per personal success, I think it is important to be economically independent. Your enterprise should empower you with a set of skills and peer recognition is always desirable. Having said that personal success is to be equally proficient in professional and personal life.
