1.Tell us about your background and journey.

I belong to Karachi, Pakistan where I spent my entire childhood and teenage. I opted for Computational Finance as my professional field, but i couldn't practise it as a career.

Got married 4 years back and moved to Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Living as an expatriate, I never applied for any job since my first priority was my home and family yet at the same time I was passionate to do something on my own.

Food had always been my weakness. I loved creating new recipes, experimenting with flavors, discovering new cuisines, and trying out different eateries in town.

Hence it was a perfect idea to turn my passion into a career. I started my food blog in August 2020, which caters to creative and easy recipes, kitchen hacks, food science, and eateries reviews.

I am grateful to my audience who puts faith in me and hence every day I try to do better than yesterday.

2. Which is your favorite cuisine and dish?

Being a Pakistani I have always loved Asian cuisine, more specifically pakistani cuisines. It contains the perfect blend of flavors that suits my tastebuds.

My favorite dish is Biryani, which is a combination of rice and meat. It has spice, perfect flavor, and aromatic herbs that take the taste to another level.

3. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?

If food blogging is given the proper time, it can be transformed into a regular career. It requires a lot of time creating content, but when the general people and brands acknowledge it, it is totally worth it.

Hence if a person remains consistent and is keen to create quality content, he can surely run it as a career.

4. Which restaurants/food joints would you recommend to food lovers?

I have always loved the Indian, Pakistani, Italian, and Arabian eateries in Khobar.

I always recommend my followers to try new options and discover different cuisines. But talking specifically about my favorites, Piatto, Naranj Damascus, Marhaba, Shahzada, and Al Kabsh are some of them lying under this heading.

5. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and talk about it on your blog?

Most important to me is the taste, every cuisine has its specialty hence the taste shouldn't be compromised by altering the basic flavors just to suit a certain targeted audience.

Secondly, the ambiance of a restaurant and the presentation of the food matters a lot. If ambiance and presentation are lacking, a customer never enjoys his food.
Hence I always comment on these issues whenever I post any review on my blog.

6. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

I associate all kinds of desserts with me. I am a person having a sweet tooth, hence I have command over creating scrumptious desserts. In fact, I am named as 'sweet master' in my family.

7. Which is your favorite book and why?

I stopped reading books just when I entered into O levels. Hence being a child my favorite book was and still is 'harry potter and the chamber of secrets". Being a fan of magic, innovative stories, and supernatural content, I can still read this book over and over again.
