1.Tell us about your background and journey.
I am Krishnan basically from South India, born in Erode District (TN) , brought up in North Paravur, Ernakulam district, Kerala. I have started singing from the age of 6, My parents recognized singing ability with in myself and artistry as a musician. They were the strong pillar of support.
I have learnt Indian Classical music (Carnatic music) for 16 years. I have been titled as Second runner up for the singing reality show Super Star the ultimate aired by Amrita TV 2012-2013 in the Malayalam industry and Airtel Super Singer season 4 semi finalist aired by Star Vijay 2013-2014 in Tamil industry.
It was a great experience and a deep dive into Indian film music. Post which I have started doing public shows, concerts along with different musicians in different parts of the world. I am a Passionate musician and an Engineer by profession.
2. Does your taste in music as a listener and as a musician Coincide?
My mother is my first teacher , she is a singer without knowledge, Used to sing all the time. Since from my childhood I do listen to her music which aroused an interest within my self and I have decided to learn music.

3. What satisfies the artist in you?
Shruthi Matha and Layam Pitha. ( one of the basic principle of Carnatic music but most important fact). According to me, any genre of music Sruthi and Layam are most important pillars along with Bhava (feel).
So an artist as a singer, what makes me satisfy is, understanding the feel (Bhava) of the song and enjoying myself, shall not perform to convince the audience, but definitely should do justice to the song by singing it in proper Shruthi, Laya and Bhava.
So whenever I do that, I will get satisfied. So does my singing which satisfies the audience as well. You are the first audience, listen to your own songs, understand the mistakes and practice which will definitely improve us.
4. Who is your all time artist and why?
Interesting question though it’s very difficult to answer. I feel really blessed to be a part of Indian music. I do enjoy and respect all the musicians, but if you ask me who is my favorite artist is A.R Rahman sir. The answer is simple, a perfect musician and an artist with 3 H’s ( Humility, Honesty and Hard work).

5. How do you plan to take your career forward?
Most Importantly, I do believe in myself, waiting for a breakthrough or to have an entry in the Indian film music. I would definitely continue my hard work and contribute as a singer as much as I can, will wait for the right opportunity which takes me to a better future.
