Just because of travelling and working at a media house I started clicking travel pictures.


1. Tell us about your background and journey.

My name is Sahil Saifi and I come from a lower-middle-class Indian family. My father and mother both are working for my education. I have completed my B.Tech in computers in 2013. 

I was software engineer for 2 years then there's opportunity in digital marketing in media production house and I opted for that because I hate coding but I love travelling and because of travelling I love to click pictures while travelling. Just because of travelling and working at media house I started clicking travel pictures.


2. How and when did you realize your passion for photography?

When I was travelling to mountains and other places I realized to capture those beautiful moments so I was clicking good pictures and tried hands-on video shoots in office.


3. What are some tips you would like to share with amateur photographers?

Sometimes its the light, sometimes it's the moment, combining these two and its magic. Actually just keep practicing with some technical knowledge.


4. What are the important skills one should have to be a successful photographer?

6. Who is your role model in photography and why?

Steve McCurry is my role model because he travelled across 6 continents and captures the natural moments.


7. Which is your favourite book and why?

Musafir cafe is my favourite book because it is the personal connect to my life and I always dreamed about my own cafe in mountains and this book is all about that cafe journey.
