Sitting in a prison cell with nothing else better to do with my time, my mother talked me into writing her a book of poetry and spoken word. It was truly her idea and her dream for me to be a writer and tell the world my experiences through the written word.
I grew up in a single-parent household because my father died when I was very young. With my mother being my only parent I turned to the streets as my father figure.
Stayed in and out of trouble my entire childhood, and eventually ended up being sentenced to 20 years. Paroled after the first 14 and paroled again after another 3.

3. Is it a financially stable career?
Due to the fact that writing is only a small part of what I have going on in life, I can not say that it is. It is a part of the seven streams of income I am working on, but it definitely plays its part.
4. Who is your favourite writer and why?
Ice Berg Slim or Donald Goines, because I read all of their books while incarcerated.
5. Where does your inspiration lie?
I am inspired by living life and being able to honestly speak about the experiences that I have experienced.
6. What does your typical day look like?
My day starts with coffee and waking up my viral fur baby. Social media posts, this getting myself together before making more social media posts. Once everybody is dressed and fed, off to the office to handle whatever mech orders I have open while promoting my music, books, and other merchandise. (I have a Million followers on Tik Tok).
7. What piece of advice would you like to give to future aspiring writers?
The best advice I can give to an aspiring author would be, know what you are talking about.
8. Which is your favourite book and why?
My favourite book would have to be December (A Story About Burning My Bed) because hidden behind the sexual situations is a crystal clear view of how far I have come and how far I am trying to go.
