Lorenzo is the founder of CaliCut the new lifestyle project inspired by the world of travel.
1. Tell us about your background and journey.
I started my journey in 2012 by opening a fashion blog, where I showed my outfits. After a few years I started to collaborate with lifestyle and travel brands. At the moment my main business is the travel and design world, one of my big passion.
2. What fascinated you to start the blog "Your mirror style"?
I had heard about this phenomenon, but the male figures were still few and I thought that a personality like mine was missing, so I started to publish photos of my outfits, immediately I attracted the interest of the brands.
3. According to you, what is the thing that makes your blog unique?
My Personality, I've never been a fashion victim. I am not interested in wearing a piece just because it is fashionable, I only wear and collaborate with things that I like and have a good taste.
4. What are you currently doing?
A month ago I launched Cali Cut, my new lifestyle project, inspired by the world of travel. It is not a simple online shop, but a larger project all linked to the world of travel and exploration.
A platform that combines exclusive hotels and unique objects from all over the world. I'm not just influencer but also contents creator and I create contents for some luxury brands.
5. How did you build up a following in Instagram?
Without strategy, simply sharing my aesthetic and vision, trying to be unique and not influenced too much by others.
6. Did you ever expect that you will get huge support for your blog and what are some of the challenges you face in order to make it successful?
Honestly no, but I've always believed it. At the beginning it was not easy, but day by day I managed to win the trust of my followers and this is a great achievement.
7. Tell us your experience in collaborating with the Fashion Designer Tommy Hilfiger?
It was one of the first collaborations with an important brand. My vision and creativity were different from today, certainly today I would propose a different image, but it was a very stimulating experience.
8. What would be your advice to the future and aspiring bloggers?
Today it is very difficult to have success, but if you follow your personality and your vision, you can get the reader's trust.
