1. Tell us more about yourself and your profession.

Hi, my name is Anjali Kunwar I am a professional yoga instructor & Ayurveda Pk therapist from Dehradun. I'm from Uttrakhand. 

2. What is your fitness mantra?

I always start my day with warm water. Along with yoga, I do diet and exercise on daily basis. And I also avoid unhealthy food. It is important to have a fixed time to eat.
 
3. What are some of the major misconceptions about diets and exercises?

Most people think that they will fit with a diet, but this is not true. Exercise is also very important. Exercise helps you lose weight by burning mostly fat; diet alone won't do that. And because muscles take up less space than fat, exercise will help your clothes fit better. Exercise also helps boost your metabolism, meaning you burn more calories all day long.

4. How can one maintain a healthy lifestyle with Yoga?

To maintain a healthy lifestyle, you need to keep eating healthy. Add more fruits and vegetables to your diet and eat fewer carbohydrates, high sodium, and unhealthy fat. Avoid eating junk food and sweets. Avoid skipping a meal—this will only make your body crave more food the moment you resume eating. 

Remember to burn more calories than you eat. Most people think that they will fit with a diet, but this is not true. Exercise is also very important. diet and exercise work equally. 

5. How can one build a successful career in your field?

Yoga is a great career choice as it is an ancient art and a natural way of remaining fit and healthy. It also helps in improving mental and physical health. Once you start practicing yoga, you can take it on as a profession.

6. What is one piece of advice you would like to give someone who wishes to practice yoga?

The truth is weight loss is a slow journey and to lose weight healthily, you need to change your lifestyle habits along with your diet and workout routine. This will help you shed kilos, improve your overall health and keep chronic diseases at bay.

The ideal way is to divide the daily calories into three equal parts and have foods accordingly. Skipping meals or starving yourself slows down the metabolism and can halt your progress. Avoid processed and refined products.

7. How do Yoga and daily exercise contributes to overall well-being and happiness?

By exercise and diet, we will make the balance of our body because they play an important role in being fit. so we can take both of them.
