1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I started beauty and fashion blogging in 2010 and founded one of the top beauty blogs in India today, vanitynoapologies.com. Soon after expanding my forte to travel, tech and food, Instagram was launched and the rest is history.

When the pandemic hit, I experimented with comedy which was welcomed with enthusiasm beyond my expectation. Soon I was juggling comedy and lifestyle, a match you don’t see often.

2. When did you first decide that you wanted to create content and how did you start?

I was doing my bachelors when I wanted to buy my first lipstick. I stumbled upon these beauty blogs talking about brands which were not available in India. One thing lead to another and few days later, I was creating content!

It was just a hobby back then and I started earning from it in a few months and then there was no turning back.

3. What is your opinion of body image created by the media and how hard is it to put up with it?

We are all equally responsible for the beauty standards that have been set up by the media. But I guess now we know better than to obsess over filtered selfies and photoshopped Instagram models.

4. What are some of your upcoming projects?

A lot of interesting things coming, you got to follow to know more about it.

5. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?

Keeping a fine balance between work and home.

6. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?

My inspiration is my daily life. Whenever an idea pops up, I write it down and use it the next time I'm writing or producing content.

7. Which is your favourite book and why?

A court of wings and ruin and not to forget the harry potter series. Fantasy fiction is my guilty pleasure.

8. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring creators and bloggers?

Consistency and originality. If you have the two, nothing can stop you.
