I was growing up in a middle-class Bengali family with rich cultural values. Especially my father and most of my paternal and maternal relatives were musicians and singers, following their footprints I started my formal training with harmonium and tabla at the age of 5 yr then when I was 12-13 my father sent me to regular guitar classes.
From this time I started feeling music more than before and slowly began to approach music in a different way. As I used to have a computer, I started to explore different music programming software. While exploring I was attracted to programming more and more slowly new opportunities were opening with me and my dreams growing day by day.
After high school, I joined engineering college, by this time I managed to make some connections to have a per-time job as a recordist in some recording studios in Kolkata, slowly I realized that engineering is not my cup of tea so I dropped out of college and that was the time I persuaded music professionally.
After a while, I started programming music independently for short films, Advertising jingles, music videos theatrical music, etc. As a matter of fact, I still do program music for various projects because this is what I enjoy doing, programming is something that gives me an eminence pleasure that itself one of a kind.
Getting back to my journey, after a while I was programming, I got my first break as a music director and recorded some very talented artist like Shaan, Akriti Kakkar, Javed Ali but unfortunately that movie didn't get released, after some time I got another opportunity on OTT platform Addatimes and composed music for web series "One Night Stand" & "Virgin Mohit" This was technically My first released work.

I always wanted to become a musician as I was saying previously but exactly it was the time I dropped engineering college.
3. Who is your favorite artist and why?
It's very difficult to pick one name. There are many favorites like Tagore, Bare Gulam Ali Khan Sahab, lata Mangeshkar, R.D Burman, Manna Day, M.D Rafi. In recent times A.R Rahman, Cris Isaak, Cory Taylor, Rupam Islam, and some more because their music has influenced me in various ways.

According to me, there is nothing called insider or outsider if one is extremely talented, nothing can bound possibilities, perhaps one has to be extremely focused.
5. What roadblocks did you face when you were started out?
I faced many blocks like every other struggling artist, I think all stories are the same at some point. I personally don't like to recall those negative stories again and again. I just want to remember the lessons I learned from them and that's my treasure.
6. Is format training required or can one train themselves purely on the basis of talent?
For me, formal training is very important but self-grooming is also important in order to upgrade their talents. In this way, both are very important. In spite of that, I believe today's technologies are opening new opportunities. Therefore today it's very much possible if one wants to train themselves purely if they are extremely talented.
