Rolls-Royce is a British luxury car manufacturer that was established in the year 1906 in Manchester, United Kingdom. Sir Frederick Henry Royce known as Henry Royce was a very prominent English Engineer, who was known for his engineering knowledge, creating a myriad of electrical and mechanical inventions, including the efficient electric crane.
He had shifted his focus to automobile manufacturing after two decades of engineering and exploring with inventions and discoveries. He reasoned that he could manufacture and craft a much finer car than the cars manufactured by the French manufacturers of those days.
On agreeing to a partnership with Charles Stewart Rolls and Claude Goodman Johnson, he found Rolls-Royce Limited.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars:
The first car of Rolls-Royce was the Rolls-Royce 10 hp and it was unveiled in December, in the year 1904 at the Paris Salon. Rolls-Royce Limited was formed in the year 1906. In the year 1921, Rolls-Royce Limited opened their brand new factory in Springfield, Massachusetts.
In this factory, around 1,703 “Springfield Ghosts” cars and around 1,241 “Phantoms” were manufactured. The first car, a “Silver Ghost”, that was manufactured in this factory was completed on the 17th of January, 1921. The chassis of that car had a documented price of US$11,750 ( which is about US$168,424 during 2019).

Rolls-Royce, as we all know, makes some of the world's most, magical luxurious cars. They are known for manufacturing hand-crafted cars promising a luxurious "magical carpet ride" for their buyers. But the shocker is that a Rolls-Royce car does not come cheap.
One of the first interesting facts about the car is probably the color. They are said to have a palette of 44,000-plus colors. The company replicates people's lipstick things from your house, things you may own, or something you've seen. So, they exactly replicate them.
For them, it's the uniqueness that stands out. It'll be registered as the buyer’s color, and they can give it a name, and it's theirs. And if someone else has seen it and wants to use that exact finish, they have to go to that person and ask their permission. Amazing right?
Another cool feature of the Rolls-Royce cars is the self-righting wheel centers. These wheel centers carry the Rolls-Royce logo, also known as the RR logo. And Rolls-Royce has designed these wheel centers in such a unique manner that the logo never rotates with the wheel. Even when the wheel rotates, this logo stands uprights all the time!
