Sometimes I just read it and I feel that the person who is writing all of this is a person sitting behind a small screen and has a very unhappy life and if writing negative things on my page makes them happy so they are going to continue doing that but mostly I read and I delete those comments because I feel just how we delete the toxic people from our lives we need to delete toxic comments on our page and mostly I also keep blocking them.
1. Tell us about your background and journey.
About my background journey, I come from a family that is quite liberal in its own way my father is a Muslim but my maternal side is Parsi and a mix of Gujarati so I don’t come from a completely Muslim background, and both my parents family have somewhere or the other been a part of the entertainment industry so yes films and creativity have been a part of my family.
But I was brought up and I am still in a very strict background because my mother is very controlling of what I choose to do or what I want to do and I like it that way I believe a little control is essential.
2. What inspired you to become a content creator?
I have been creating content, to be honest, since I was 19 or 20 years old but it was never really appreciated because other content creators are making way better content than I was and my content was always inspired by Following the latest trends.
But now when I make content I make it for the people and a huge number of people or common people normal people have normal problems normal lives they don’t want to know about fashion and luxurious lifestyle, they want a voice and I want to be their voice. Content is a way that I converse with my audience and try to touch their hearts nothing else.
3. Is being a content creator a financially stable career?
For me so far everything that I have done this face is the best it’s not too much and it’s not too less but I am satisfied with the love and also the rewards that I get. I am a very content person I don’t have big desires and whatever fulfills my basic needs and lets me be independent I am fine doing that.
4. How do you overcome criticism and negative comments?
Sometimes I just read it and I feel that the person who is writing all of this is a person sitting behind a small screen and has a very unhappy life and if writing negative things on my page makes them happy so they are going to continue doing that but mostly I read and I delete those comments because I feel just how we delete the toxic people from our lives we need to delete toxic comments on our page and mostly I also keep blocking them.
But sometimes when they write too many things and again and again they keep making accounts to write those negative things then I go in my DMs and ask them why do they hate me so much and later I get to know that they are those fans who did not get a reply from my side and they just wanted a bit of attention. Also, most of my trollers are children/kids between 13-17 yrs of age.
5. Who do you admire the most and why?
I am a diehard fan of Michael Jackson I admire him the most also I admire everyone who has made something out of being graceful and a good human being. I am not inspired by famous and powerful people but I am only inspired by people who are a little famous but they have done great things for humanity and people around them.
I believe anyone can be famous and rich but there are really fewer people who can have good attributes merciful hearts and humble tongues those are the people who I admire the most.
6. What tips and advice would you give to aspiring content creators?
I would tell them to just be themselves and make content out of something that they have gone through or they have seen or they are saying not by looking at others half of the people on Instagram or any other social media platform Watch other international creators and try to recreate their content and they have millions of followers that they have achieved by making a huge investment on having a PR relationship.
I believe that content is something that says a lot about who you are as a person having imaginary numbers and purchased likes will only make you famous for a certain period of time but you will never be recognized for who you are because you have not shown that yet.
Content needs to change society, so I say influencer means having an influence on people and people don’t need to know how rich you are how stylish you are and how many clothes you have, but they need to know what you made out of nothing.
7. Which is your favorite art book and why?
Well honestly I’m not been a book person though I have been a law student I have been a dropout so that makes it obvious that I was not a book person when I say art I am very drawn towards poets and authors like Harivansh Rai Bachchan, RM Drake, Gulzar Sahab, Mirza Ghalib, I read really emotional things and if it does not have emotions I can’t read it !!
