1. Tell us more about yourself and your profession.
My name is jawed khan I’m 29 years old I have done my schooling from army school and done my graduation from Pune University. I started working in Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd as a railway project executive in 2009. After it, I joined the fitness industry in 2012 as a passion but now its become my part of life when I found that it's amazing I decided to have certification and I did this field I enjoyed it a lot because I have a hobby of meeting with new people once they get the result they appreciate and it's my reward.
2. What is your fitness mantra?
Fitness and has always been a part of my life. I started working out and eating right from the time I was in school. There isn’t a single diet that I haven’t followed. Be it no carbs, high protein, or only carbs and nothing else. I would skip meals, especially breakfast. I wanted to lose weight quickly, so what better way to do it than to just not eat. not eat – that’s where I got it wrong. I worked out 2 hours a day, on a half-empty stomach! It did me more harm than good.
I wasn’t a morning person, so skipping breakfast was a given. I lost a lot of weight but was tired and cranky most of the time. After years of experimentation, I finally realized how important food is for the body especially in the morning. You need the energy derived from food, it’s the fuel that helps you kick-start your day and keeps you going throughout the day.
I am still not a morning person, but my days of skipping breakfast are far behind me. I make it a point to start my day with breakfast in the morning. Skipping breakfast is a big no-no when it comes to managing weight. After an 8-hour sleep cycle, your body needs fuel to re-charge for the new day.
3. What are some of the major misconceptions about diets and exercises?
Here's my honest, overall take on this - every time I hear them saying that being or looking fit is "70 percent diet and 30 percent exercise. Is diet incredibly important to fat loss, weight loss, and/or a healthy body? Yes. Is exercise essential to fat loss, weight loss, and a healthy body? Yes, completely. Both are absolutely necessary for a strong, healthy, fit body, so there's no reason to diminish the immensely important role of exercise in order to highlight the value of nutrition.
There is a big difference between weight loss via diet and weight loss via diet and exercise. Methods that incorporate both are significantly more healthy and lead to a body that is capable and strong. Lose weight from diet alone and you'll find yourself less able, less healthy overall than if you incorporate exercise too.
Think about it this way - without exercise, a person would be forced to follow a lower calorie diet to maintain a certain weight. This is not particularly pleasant, reasonable, or healthy. Additionally, unless a person is being 100% on point with their food choices, it also lessens the likelihood that a person is easily able to get all of the vitamins and nutrients that they need.
Regarding the "abs are made in the kitchen" saying, I still disagree. Abs are made through good nutrition and exercise; the fat that covers everyone's abs is burnt off via strength training, cardio, and maintaining a healthy diet that includes an appropriate caloric intake. So, don't discount one or the other - focus on overall health, which includes proper diet and exercise.

It is important to drink enough water to keep the body hydrated. It can help you to get rid of many problems like skin and hair-related issues, stomach aches, poor digestion, and dehydration. There are many people who forget to drink water during working hours.
An adult human body usually needs 8 to 10 glasses of water daily but we end up drinking 3 to 4 glasses of water only. Increase your water intake and see positive results. Eat on time: Having a busy schedule sometimes spoils your eating routine. It is very important to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner on time. Never early and never so late.
Proper diet: Having a hectic schedule, people usually eat something which they can finish quickly and get back to their work. This is not at all a good idea. You can not take shortcuts when it comes to eating. Only a proper diet can provide you proper nutrition. Do not go for fast food or junk food when it is your lunch or dinner time.
