Before getting into the critical analysis of the movie, its imperative that we have a clear understanding of what Article 15 stands for.
Article15 of Indian constitution states, “The State shall not deny to any person equality before the law or the equal protection of the laws within the territory of India.”
Therefore, in simpler terms, Article 15 secures the citizens from every sort of discrimination by the State, on the grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth.

Review of the movie
A brilliantly crafted movie, with every scene perfectly executed through impeccable direction, the movie is bound to impact the audience by way of its crisp dialogues and crime-thriller suspense.
The movie is a depiction of the bitter reality that India is accustomed to and Anubhav Sinha, through his impeccable direction takes us through the ugly side of rural India and the uglier side of the notions and prejudices that they hold.
The movie is a real-life portrayal that even after 70 years of independence, India is yet a slave of the ag-old norms and beliefs.
The dialogues of the movie are perfectly curated with excellent articulation on the part of the actors as well.
The intense screenplay is bound to leave you hooked until the very end. The harsh reality, the bitter truths, the prevalence of age-old customs, the narrow mindedness and the deep rooted unethical practices make you question our so called Independence.
Needless to say, Ayushmann Khurana was the best suited choice for the action-thriller and has indeed done justice to his role. The entire cast of the movie does an outstanding job of complimenting the script and brings out the true essence of what needed to be conveyed by way of the movie.
This is what makes Article 15, a must watch movie for people from all generations, be it with your friend or your family.
