1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I Am Shashank Singh aka Authen and I'm From UP But I Live In Rajasthan With My Family. I am from a middel class family and I am a rapper, who is know for his unique style and texture.

I started rapping in 2012 when I heard honey singh, badshah, raftaar, lil golu, ikka (mafia munder) and I was totally attracted towards them. My music career on YouTube started on 2017 and at that time it was difficult to do rap because hip hop was not well known and our parents in India were like there is no scope in it but my parents support me and I worked from a small town and did what ever I can and in 2020 I released a track called SANAK and got recognized.

2. How would you describe your musical style?

It's Hip Hop and I'm a creative kid that thinks a lot about my musical style and I don't have a specific style but I'm known for Dark genre in which I talk totally different things then real life, I talk about fantasies, dreams and about death.

I don't like the way we are going forward so I just say hell (word) specifically for earth coz I feel we are living in hell and as you know hell is underground and we are known as underground rappers so I tell stories about our world with a different prospective.

3. What are three things you look for when you see an artist play live?

The first thing is love for his music and Second is audience interaction while listening to his music and third is song selection on which he is performing.

4. Who is your superhero alter-ego and why?

For me The Superhero alter ego is Authen because shashank was not the person who can do all this things he is a shy person and very simple but authen has more attacking nature and he didn't have any fare in him about anything and authen don't think much about numbers response and all so authen is the superhero alter ego for me.

5. Where do you find your artistic inspiration?

I don't find any artistic inspiration from artist. I take inspiration from my dads hard work for us and he teaches me and tells me not to stop at any point and Mom too. They are my inspiration in real life.

6. What are your upcoming projects?

I have worked on my EP and it is coming Real soon and I am working on so many experimental tracks that have a different taste and vibe. My Ep is uniquely different from others and all will know when it will be on all streaming and YouTube platform.

7. Which is your favourite book and why?

My Favourite Book is LIFE I love taking experience from it and it teaches me the mistakes, lessons and pushes me to do more hard work to achieve my dreams. Dream's that a middle class kid have and want to achieve that by working harder and harder.
