Srishti Mehta - Create Your Content, Work Hard Stay Consistent And Interact With Your Audience (Influencer from India)

My journey started in 2018 when I was in the 3rd year of my college. I was going through a rough phase so for a change I went for a trek and there I realised my love for mountains and what I'm meant for and how far I'm going to take this.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I come from a pahadi and military background my father has served the Indian army for 30 years so with him we've seen various parts of our country but my journey started in 2018 when I was in the 3rd year of my college. I was going through a rough phase so for a change I went for a trek and there I realised my love for mountains and what I'm meant for and how far I'm going to take this.

2. What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?

I joined Instagram as like every other person just to share pictures with friends and some known people, in initial days my account was private, I used to share pictures but they were only seen by few people who follow me, after some time when I started travelling more I made my account public, and shared pictures of mountains and scenic views that I used to witness during my travel, I gained a lot of followers and people were loving my content.

3. How would you distinguish the term blogger from an influencer?

It is quite simple with the words blogger is the one who owns a blog and influencer is the one who influences his/ her audience with his / her content. An influencer can become a blogger and vice versa.

4. Is it financially sustainable to be a blogger or an influencer today?

Absolutely, that's why so many people are coming forward and working hard on any digital platform. I feel owning a blog is like owning a company. Blog and influence can be used as a business it just depends on how wisely you use it.

5. What do you think influences consumer behaviour?

Your Honesty and humility. And also, how creatively you represent your content.

6. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?

find and know your happiness, the moment you'll say from your heart and soul that I am happy, I am happy in what I have and where I am, that will be the moment you can consider yourself successful.

7. How can someone become a successful blogger or social media influencer?

Create your content, work hard stay consistent and interact with your audience and yes, stay kind always.
