Educational environment is a right, not a privilege.

A school is actually a home away from home for any student. During student life most of the walking hours of any student are spent at school where they learn anything and everything in various dimensions from books, teachers, peers and even school environs. So it goes without saying that schools play a very important role in shaping a student’s personality and holistic learning process.

Like an experienced teacher and teaching pedagogy play a vital role in shaping a student's academic life, infrastructure is also critical as it creates a favorable environment for a student’s holistic development. It is common knowledge that every parent wants to spend money where kids feel safe and secure while learning and enjoying their student life. They wish to ensure that schools have an essential amount of safety standards and facilities to make learning a joy.

Besides, an overcrowded classroom and a stressful environment also affects a students’ learning capabilities. That’s why the school-teacher ratio is also a key parameter for parents before they admit their wards to any specific school.

Primarily, when we take education system into consideration in a country like India, education in government schools are not up to the mark and which is why citizens prefer paid education and look up-to private institutions and when things are not facilitated the right way in spite of demanded payment, it does become a sad situation for the students as well as the parents whose hard-earned money is being consumed by the system. Several students happen to mention that their school denies to clean the classroom on a daily basis and also does not keep a proper water filter for drinkable water in small town private schools.

People may argue that physical space is secondary and studiousness is what matters but researchers and psychologists suggest that environmental factors can increase the academic performance and motivate attendance.

The site for educational institutions like schools is a crucial concern as noise and temperature levels are said to affect the understanding levels in students. Physical conditions can leave both positive and negative effects on the students' all-inclusive development. 

As per the belief of one of the world's best education systems i.e., of Finland's, Playing and recreation is crucial and a prerequisite factor to effective learning. Properly planned school infrastructure is an out-and-out key factor in effective teaching and learning. This can also be an encouragement for the school faculty.
