Characters You Will Be Glad You Watched the Show for
The drama is a blend of exciting characters whose silliest performances would make you laugh throughout. The fact that it entails characters with absolutely unique talents makes it more engaging. Some of which are mentioned below:
“The Italian Boss.”
Vincenzo Cassano: The main lead of the drama as we all know. He is the most handsome and skilled consigliere out there. His methods of dealing with people and problems are different. Throughout the drama you will find him portraying both his sweet and spicy sides. He can be anything as the situation demands, ruthless, cruel, hilarious and dumb. But he knows when to play what cards very well.
“The smart and confident sassy lawyer.”
Hong Cha-Young: She is a cutthroat and competitive lawyer who will do anything to win a case. Her method of dealing with problems usually involves bribing. She is confident which gives a charismatic aura to her character but becomes sensitive and believes in fighting the right way against evil after her father’s death.
“The criminal psychopath.”
Jang Joon-woo: He is a psychopathic intern working in the Woosang Law Firm under lawyer Hong Cha-Young as her personal assistant. His character initially is that of a dumb, naive and cheerful man who studied in the U.S. but has a lot of secrets.
“The cunning witch.”
Choi Myung-hee: She is a nutcase who would kill anyone to achieve her goals and appears to be a good-natured woman outside. Her Zumba scenes are the funniest and probably the only times when you would forget she is evil and corrupt.
“The foolish pet.”
Jang Han-Seo: He is the Chairman of the Babel Group and half-brother of Jang Han-seok who publicly acts as the chairman in his brother’s place. He paints a picture of a rude businessman when in reality, he is a naive, slow, scared and extremely dim-witted who cannot be the master of himself.
“The Vincenzo fan.”
Ahn Gi-Seok: His character is that of a kind, hilarious and cheerful person. He is an Intelligence agency team leader who initially goes undercover to spy on Vincenzo and ultimately becomes Vincenzo’s fan while always being ready to support and help him.

Highlight of the Drama - The Ending Scene
By this time, Vincenzo is a wanted Italian mafia in South Korea. He has become the boss of the Cassano Family and has acquired the olive plantations in Matla. He now stands and fights for justice though it is through his mafia ways.
He is able to visit Korea to meet Cha-Young and the others only during the Korean-Italian diplomatic affair events. He will be remembered both as a loved hero and villain of the story.

The Bottom Line
The episodes served as a wild ride every week. It has been one of the best shows in the Korean drama history where the journey had been better than the destination. The finale wraps up the most big plots while still leaving some ambiguity over certain elements.
To me this is the first Korean drama where each character brilliantly portrays their sweet and spicy side. Each scene also has its significant end, while some can be disappointing, despite that, the dark chilling sequences give the drama a great structure wrapping everything in a decent way.
For a beginner, there is no better time than now to hop into the Korean drama universe with this must watch show to start with.
