Yatin Uppal - Don’t Stop, Don’t Feel Embarrassed, Don’t Think What People Will Think, Don’t Be Ashamed of Doing Anything (Content Creator from India)

YATIN UPPAL

Consistency is the key to success. While making content you need to be sure that you will be consistent in the beginning when you are just starting your page.
Consistency doesn’t mean just posting every day and anything. It’s about maintaining the standard of your content that whenever your audience will see it,  they should be amazed every time. That’s how you will grow.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

So I’ve recently completed my graduation in BBA from GGSIPU Delhi. I’m 22 years old. As just like others I was doing anything to keep myself busy as the pandemic is going on and we are still at home. I just started making content about whatever comes to mind? And surprisingly people loved it. Mostly girls guys hate.

2. When and how did you decide to become a content creator and what type of content do you usually create?

Actually, it was never planned and still I don’t count myself as a content creator.
I’m just a guy next door who started sharing his weird thoughts while going cycling. As I said I don’t plan anything, I don’t even prepare a script or something like that. I just let out whatever is happening inside me.

3. How important has social media become in terms of business?

It is a good opportunity. If you can just work hard while being steady and if you are honest with people over the internet. That’s how you will grow. That’s what I believe because honesty is rare nowadays and people are just looking for that.

4. How do you maintain consistency in creating your content?

Consistency is the key to success. While making content you need to be sure that you will be consistent in the beginning when you are just starting your page.
Consistency doesn’t mean just posting every day and anything. It’s about maintaining the standard of your content that whenever your audience will see it,  they should be amazed every time. That’s how you will grow.

5. Who do you admire the most and why?

My mom. The humor the way I speak or the way I just describe things in my own way is somehow because of my mom. So in my videos when I want to scold people I end up saying these two words at the end of the video  That is “Aye bade”. People love that somehow. That “Aye bade”. My mom says that to me when she is scolding me. I love her when she does that it’s really cute.

6. What tips and advice would you give to aspiring content creators?

Don’t stop, don’t feel embarrassed, don’t think what people will think, don’t be ashamed of doing anything. Be natural be raw. Don’t need to copy what everyone is doing already. Stand out, create your own separate identity and you are good to go.

7. Which is your favorite book and why?

I will be very honest I don’t read books. It’s not my thing. But let me tell you the best book you will come across and which will teach you stuff that even a real book can’t teach you. It's your life and real experiences. That is the best book ever.
