Anubhav Dubey - My Journey Began With Serving Tea Ourselves To Now Being The Owner Of 165 Plus Outlets In 65 Cities In India & 3 Countries (Founder Chai Sutta Bar)

Patience, perseverance and adapting to changes are the constants and Guru Mantra’s to run any kind of businesses.

1. Tell us more about your company and your journey.

Chai Sutta Bar, as the name, suggests it’s a concept of bringing Indian Traditional beverage Chai on a Bar table. More than that Chai Sutta Bar is known for its customer engagement, its ambience, positivity and retention. The brand is all about customer satisfaction and their willingness to engage with the brand. Keeping in mind these factors we have kept our pricing model at the most nominal low a Kulhad of Chai served at Chai Sutta Bar is as cheap at Rs. 10/- and the highest item on the menu card is Rs. 150/- max. The price point draws the ultimate satisfaction and retention for the brand.

The journey has been a roller coaster as it is for most start-ups, from quitting UPSC exams to becoming an Entrepreneur and selling Chai has been an experience. But we had faith that a food & beverage model in India would never fail. Chai is the 2nd largest consumed liquid on earth after water and for Indians, it's not just a beverage, it’s a tradition and the most easily available alternative to food for many, so our idea was to serve this mass audience and become a massy + classy product. The journey began with serving tea ourselves to now being the owner of 165 plus outlets in 65 cities in India and 3 countries.

2. What do you think are the most important qualities of a successful entrepreneur?

Be grounded and trust your instinct – The Universe will put all its strength to make it happen for you

Be Patient & Never give-up – It's ok to climb and fall, that’s how you will learn but if you give up on learning you will never have a chance to climb back again

If you want to do something do it now, there is never a tomorrow

Believe in yourself – If you have taken up something ensure and make up your mind saying I can and will do it, instead of let’s see what happens
