1. Tell us more about your background and journey.
I am of Indian descent born on the beautiful island of Trinidad. I grew up in Trinidad but when I was 25 I got married and moved to South Florida where I’ve been living for the past 6 years. I took a break from music to have kids. Now that my two boys are both over 2 I’m back at it.
2. When did you first decide you wanted to pursue music and how did you start?
I was 7 years old when I decided I wanted to be a singer. I started actually recording in 2012 while I lived in Trinidad. I wrote a lot of music because I believe that practice makes perfect. I also did voice training for a few years to help in perfecting my craft.
3. Who is your favorite artist and why?
My favorite artist of all time would have to be Rihanna and also because she is my inspiration. Rihanna is a Caribbean girl-like me and proof that a Caribbean girl can do it.

I am an artist, content creator, and influencer. What I have learned is that the more content you put out is the more chances you have at getting seen and therefore creating a lasting presence. When just starting out in music opportunity is not always easy to find!

6. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring artists?
Never stop creating! The music business is very hard but if you love it use that as fuel and never give up. It’s not going to be easy but it’s going to be worth the hard time.
7. Which is your favorite book and why?
My favorite book is the secret by Rhoda Byrnes and I love it because it teaches me the power of my mind and making things a reality.
