My life changed when I started to practice medicine in my internship. I became passionate about learning practical application of my theoretical knowledge and then I was just unstoppable. Today I can handle any emergencies and critical care has become my area of work. The thrill in handling emergencies is what I love.
Born and brought up in a joint family, I have done my schooling in Igatpuri, a place full of nature's beauty. A very introvert and silent girl who grew in a family with around 30 members, a cricket team of siblings, two real sisters one elder other younger.
My father has huge importance of education, though he regrets not being well educated himself, he has educated us all and made us so much capable and independent today. My mother is a fun loving, charming lady , a purest soul
I guess they both make me what I am today.
I have done my graduation in Nasik and practicing in Nasik since last 6 years.
2. Why did you choose to be a doctor and decide what you specifically want to do?
I actually had no idea about what I would do further, no proper guidance
Admission in a medical college was just with the flow. When in first year, the things looked too scary and I was unsure whether I would be able to practice well.
Though I was very good at the theoretical part, the practical part seemed too difficult.

3. We salute your work during the pandemic, where did you get the inspiration to work so hard?
It's actually not easy to be a frontline covid worker , but what is more difficult is to become a covid patient and we are the ones who can help them overcome this dreadful disease and make their life normal as before, every patient discharged makes our efforts count.
My parents inspire me to work hard , I have been seeing them working so hard for us and I just wish to make them proud.
I enjoy my work a lot, I guess when the patients I treat , recover, that is the best feeling, and when they appreciate my work it inspires me to do more
4. How do you expect digital health to grow over the next 5 years?
We are already into digitalization of everything, and covid has made digital health grow enormously. We can take opinions of experts just with few clicks and it is very helpful in this current situation. In next 5 years , I guess 50% of consultations will be digital
5. What are your concerns about Digital Health?
Digital health has a disadvantage, that the doctor does not actually examine the patient which I consider is a very important part to diagnose and treat a patient.
Digital health misses this important step, which can sometimes lead to misdiagnosis or over diagnosis of a patient.
6. Can you let us know any one application of Digital Health in India which has impressed you?
Constantly working in emergencies I haven't used any of the digital health applications.
7. What is your message for aspiring doctors and the young generation? Which is the best medical college according to you?
I would tell them to learn thorough examination of patient, practice life saving skills, never get over confident, every patient is different and try to treat every patient with justice. Just do the best you can for the patient, money is just a part, satisfaction you get after you treat a patient well is priceless. So patient first always.
8. What does your typical day look like and what do you like to do besides work?
My typical day starts and ends with patients which is my super active time from 10 to 10.
Besides work I love to dance, watch comedy shows, travel, listen to my favourite songs and eat my favourite foodstuffs.
