Mayra is a law graduate who came to Pakistan for a wedding. When she was in Pakistan two male friends kept talking to her. One fine day they both said to Mayra that they wanted to marry her. She had refused the proposal.

Mayra had also asked the police for protection. She also informed her uncle about the two men and the rejection of their marriage proposals. Initially, they had threatened her with severe and painful consequences that she would have to face.

Her Uncle’s Efforts

Mayra’s uncle Mohammed Nazeer came to know of his niece’s death only from Mayra’s father. Mayra had told him about the men and their proposal. He had tried speaking to them also but never expected such a tragic end.

He has named the suspects to the police. Police are in search of one of the suspects who had plotted the murder. The suspects had broken into the house and killed her.

Seeking For Justice

Mayra’s father wants justice for her. He says that he has been walking to the police station and other places for the past few days but there has been no improvement in the case.

He appeals for help to both Malala the Nobel Peace prize winner and prime minister Imran Khan. He says that his daughter wanted to serve the people by being a lawyer without collecting any fees from the poor people.

He also adds that the only difference between Malala and his daughter is that she studied here and went abroad, but his daughter has come to Pakistan to serve the citizens.
