1. Tell us more about yourself and your profession.

For years I have been working as a fitness coach and personal trainer with normal people who want to lose weight, as well as with students who have received a tennis scholarship, but also in prisoner with prisoners, with entrepreneurs, and politicians.

2. What is your fitness mantra?

My fitness mantra is: I am, I can, I will, I do. And I really like stuff like pain is weakness, leaving your body.

3. What are some of the major misconceptions about diets and exercises?

There are some misunderstandings in the area of fitness and diet, such as that you should eat very little if you want to lose weight. I agree with my customers that they should cut off carbohydrates during the week from Monday-Friday and eat clean-but on weekends they can eat what they want. The plans are of course tailored to the individuals, but I don‘t make any rules that are too strict.

4. How can one maintain a healthy lifestyle?

The most important thing for a healthy lifestyle is balance. You should exercise but also listen to your body. Exercise is important but recovery is important as well. Diet is good for your body and mind, but sometimes it‘s ok to eat ice cream or a burger-you should always try to find some kind of balance for yourself.

5. How can one build a successful career in your field?

To work as a trainer or coach-you should bring certain things with you, such as empathy, social competence, and emotional intelligence. It is not the muscles of a trainer or coach that are important, but the way he teaches and his competence, and how he treats people students.

6. What is one piece of advice you would like to give someone at this crucial time?

7. How do diets and exercise contribute to overall well-being and happiness?

The human body is made to move. The body is a tool and the way we deal with it, will work for us too. We depend on our body and if we treat it with respect and appreciation, then it will staying true to us for a long time. Exercise helps us stay supple, it helps with metabolism, it helps to have clear thoughts and to be able to concentrate. The diet helps the body to have power, similar to where a good engine in a car also good oil If you exercise and eat well, you will have a lot more joy in life.
