Success is subjective and in my opinion, a person is successful and excel at life if they’re content and happy with how far they have come, one who has the perfect balance between being content and constantly trying to get better, taking risks is successful in my eyes. They’re smart, healthy and empathetic humans with interesting stories to tell about their life and I love to listen to these stories.
They are also open-minded & another thing is having a great life requires optimism and appreciation even when people do bad things.
Tell us about your background and journey.
Not sure where to start. Well, maybe I will introduce myself. I am saman Jamshaid (from Pakistan) and now I live in Qatar for six years, by profession as an administrator in Ooredoo HQ, a double graduate and master degree holder from Pakistan Islamabad. got married in 2015 and soon after moved to Qatar.
What led you to start your page on Instagram, and what is it about?
I started blogging in early 2020, well! You can say that was my passion at first I was really hesitant and had no clue how to get into this field but by the time I learnt so many things and still in the learning process. for me blogging is all about my fashion passion, my aesthetics.
Photography though I am not a photographer but love to capture some good shots of my closet, you will find mostly fashion and food, not a good blogger but always helping my audience in finding the best place for dining in so yea my blogging majors are fashion, lifestyle, food.
Yes being a social media influencer is sustainable for a long time. The key is being willing to put in the effort. There are plenty of established bloggers with a license who are making a lot of money out of influence.
How would you distinguish the term blogger from an influencer?
A blogger is someone with a website where they host a blog and publish their own original, valuable content. An influencer is someone with an online platform who has a massive following and therefore a large impact on an audience’s buying decisions.
So basically I would love to call myself an influencer. You can be a blogger and publish helpful articles for your readers or you can be an influencer and promote products and services that will benefit your followers.
A third option is to be both a blogger and an influencer. You don’t have to be exclusively one or the other.
Whichever business strategy you take, it’s best to be informed.
Is it financially sustainable to be an influencer today?

Success does not happen overnight. You must build enough content, and this process can sometimes take years for your platforms to support you financially. But definitely, it can lead to a full-time career.

It’s hard to get through life and not experience bad behaviour at the hands of someone else. It’s easy to give up and get down when things don’t go right, but success has never been about what’s easiest. It’s always required tenacity and perseverance and a sense of grit.
How can someone become a successful social media influencer?
Be consistent, be honest with whatever you’re doing, don’t be in a race "Work Hard"! And don’t lose hope your time will come not today not tomorrow but eventually it will come, show your passion towards your niche and success will be all yours.
