This Could Be That One Solution to The World Peace

It is rightly said by Paramhansa Yogendra that “Peace is the altar of God, the condition in which happiness exists”.But what happened to world peace, why there is more bloodshed & violence?

Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam

Today the entire world is divided into caste, creed, religion, and territories. One of our most ancient concepts of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’, the world is one family, is the only solution to world peace which is threatened by terrorism, regionalism & growing divides in the society vis-à-vis globe.

Vasudhavia Kutumbakam is a shloka(couplet)from the Atharva Veda which embodies the true spirit of humanness expressed , not today but four thousand years ago. It preaches that

We are the birds of the same nest, We may wear different skins, We may speak different languages, We may believe in different religions, We belong to different cultures, Yet we share the same home-our Earth Born on the same planet, covered by the same skies, gazing at the same stars, breathing the same air.

Happily Progress Together

We must learn to happily progress together Or miserably perish together.
For man can live individually But can survive only collectively. Therefore “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” is an indomitable spirit according to which:
One must leave behind a legacy that belongs not to Indians alone but all humans.

A legacy that can help human beings in all corners of any globe to rejuvenate our spirits not to conquer one another but to conquer oneself, not to destroy but to build, not to hate, but to love, not to isolate oneself, but to integrate everyone into one globe society & achieve much more in the future to enrich human civilization to result in-

“The maximum welfare of the maximum number”. “Loko samasto Sukhino Bhavantii”& Samasta Jananaam Sukhino Bhavantii”.

Peace And Prosperity

Today we are in desperate need of peace & prosperity as the amount of money that is being spent on nuclear warheads is more than what is utilized for hunger and poverty. The world has 37,000 nuclear weapons capable of destroying the globe many times.

So, think and rise up to the occasion & once again make this world one big happy family. The burden of bringing peace is on you, as you hold the key to the better future of this world.

Lao Tzu rightly said that- If there is to be peace in the world, There must be peace in the nations. If there is peace in the nations, There must be peace in the cities.
If there is to be peace in the cities, There must be peace between neighbors, There must be peace in the home.

If there is to be peace in the home, There must be peace in the heart.
