It's very rightly said "you need food as much as love" and my love for food made me a blogger. A lot of people ask me the thought behind my profile name .i.e "Delitespoon" I feel that every dish or every spoon of food we eat is a delight for your stomach that hit my mind so from there comes Delitespoon.
1. Please tell us about your background and journey.
Hey peeps! I am Vineeta Arora from Delitespoon. I born and brought up in Delhi I am working as a Digital Marketer in a reputed IT company as a Digital Marketing Head.
My 1st Post was about “Raj Kachori” on 26 July 2018. That’s how my journey has started in Food Blogging. Gradually I learn how to click the pictures and different angles to give mouthwatering stuff to my Insta FAM.
Some people think wow a food blogger/is enjoying the food and post and earns, but in reality, it is a big task to click a good picture, you have to eat the cold food just to get the excellent picture for your content.
But yes, I am enjoying it very much, and I am learning so many new things from this. As so many brands are reaching out to me for collaborations, I got Invites from Lounges & Restaurants for Food Reviewing, and I also enjoy a bit of fame.
2. Which is your favourite cuisine and dish?
As a food blogger, you have to taste everything, but my favourite cuisine is North Indian. As Punjabi, we all like Chole Bhature, So I am. Other than this, I love Dosa. I never say no to Dosa; I can have it any time.
3. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?
Nowadays, it is very common. Influencers are using these platforms as a career option. As I am from a Digital Marketing background, Social Media Marketing is part of my job. But I am doing blogging as a passion and side by side activity, not as a career option for me. Maybe in future.
4. Which Restaurants/food joints would you recommend to food lovers?
Street Food – Aloo Chaat (Tilak Nagar), Tikki (Kohat Enclave opp Odhani), Chole Kulche (Ashok Vihar)
Restaurants/Outlets – Imly, Duty-free, JW Solitaire, Wongs Kitchen, veer ji malai chaap.
5. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and talk about it on your blog?
It's really hard to say in particular. But if I have to choose one or two criteria then it definitely would be the presentation of food because the first impression is the last impression if a food doesn't present well then you already had a thought in mind maybe it doesn't taste good as well. So the presentation of food than the ambience of the restaurant.
6. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?
If I have to associate myself with a dish then it's definitely going to be Chatpati Chaap just like me it has different flavours like little tangy spicier little sweet and tastier and if you treat and cook it well then its good for your health too.
