Yasir Khan

Today's youth which is not too much motivated, I want to set an inspiration for them. Those people who feel that they cannot do anything in the world, I want to give them a roadmap. I want to teach people that social media is a tool and how they can use it to make their life better.

1. Tell us more about what you do and what led you to speak on this platform.

Currently, I am running multiple social media businesses along with motivational speaking. I think we all have a speaker in us. But society does not allow it to come forward. So where did all this begin? When I was a kid I spend most of my times watching the video and playing games but the one thing that totally changed my life. It was that one day my father took me to a seminar.

Where many speakers had come. And when I saw them speak, every word of them was relatable to me and my thinking I was thinking WOW! how big a following these people have! They are getting another level of respect in society. I promised myself that Yes! I want to be like them. Firstly I was a bit shy to speak with people so I started sharing my speaking in my school and at family functions but It wasn't enough for me!

So I choose social media to share my thoughts because most young youth is on social media. And Social media helped me to reach out to them and become who I wanted to be. Remember you all have a speaker inside. All you have to do is bring it out regardless of the society. Because you can't stop society from putting obstacles in your life. They will find out one bad thing in every good thing you do. But speakers always find a positive vibe.

2. How do you chose and prepare for a talk?

I always suggest my audience read books as much as they can. Because only books can give us real knowledge and knowledge gives us the power to stand in society. Pick a good punchline because I believe that the first impression is the last one. Just controversial topics and smiling faces do not make people feel good.

When I speak, I only focus on this thing "How much value can I add to people's lives?" Value! This is the only thing that makes your talk interesting and boring. It doesn't matter how much time you have got. One thing you have to do is speak with your heart.

3. How can one become a public speaker?

As I said earlier, we all have a speaker inside, just because of the fear of our society, we can never bring it out. I always suggest people. That they should go and meet new people. Spend more time with your elders. Ask them to share their experiences with you. Take away your shyness, Be an avid reader! Because you will only speak what you have read and what you have heard.

4. Can motivational speaking become a full-time career?

Absolutely! Because today's youth is lack motivation. They have no ideas what to do in life and if you guide them. Then Yes! it can become a full-time career for you. The more value You can add to people's living the more money and fame you make in this field. Nowadays people need more Motivational Speakers and Mentors to keep them self-motivated. There is a lot of opportunity for new speakers. And if you don't have an opportunity try to create one.

5. Which is your favorite talk ever and how did it change your life?

Once I did a webinar with all my students. This webinar changed my life as more than a hundred people joined it. And those people gave me an insane level of respect. And that day I decided that I want to become a full-time speaker. I canceled all my plans and I started improving my speaking skills.

6. What are the best public speaking tips that have worked for you?

I use a formula called "Always Response In A Positive Way." A positive response is such a way that no matter how many hate and wrong comments you have got, you can make them in your favor. Think that these are for improving you.
If you use quotes during your speech it improves your words 10x times more powerful. Because people are able to relate a lot with quotes.

7. What impact do you want to make in the world?

Today's youth which is not too much motivated, I want to set an inspiration for them. Those people who feel that they cannot do anything in the world, I want to give them a roadmap. I want to teach people that social media is a tool and how they can use it to make their life better.

8. Which is your favorite book and why?

My all-time favorite book is "How To Win Friends & Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. I don't need to explain why this book is best for the speaker because the name of the book itself tells everything. Books add a huge impact on your life. I always follow this quote "All Readers Are Not Leaders But All Leaders Are Readers".
