About the Book:

In a nation like India, a love relationship transformed into marriage is no tiny than a battle conflict. When the two companions of the pair are from two different regions, things are set to get complicated. Chetan Bhagat's fourth novel, 2 states, fluctuates around this topic -way before Chennai Express was in the works!

The tale opens when Punjabi-boy Krish Arora, comes across a Tamil -Brahmin -girl Ananya Swaminathan in the IIMA multitude, where they are both probings. Ananya gets into an argument with the mess employee and Krish helps both of them to settle it, in retrieval giving up his sweet plate, to Ms. Popular of the university. Quite stable, both of them fall in love and what emerges is their journey of convincing their parents.

Chetan Bhagat is one of my favorite writers. Though there are several problems in his books and his technique of writing, we can not doubt the fact that this man has rewritten the face of Indian reading. I have read this book 5 times. The New York Times called him the biggest-selling English-language columnist in the Indian record.

Here in India, the record-breaking achievement of his books and the films based on them disseminates all. As foreseen, 2 states was a bestseller as well. The truth that the book is somewhat motivated by his being, makes it more reasonable and accordingly popular among his enthusiasts.

The story moves between three towns Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Chennai. While we are shown just a glance of the main city, the other two are characterized in entire vigor. The writer intelligently catches the communities of norths and south India. While Krish's mom and aunt will make you recall all your neighborhood aunties, Ananya's parents are shown as ordinary mindful Tamilians.

Though the story is told from the point of belief of the male protagonist, the novelist never takes sides and brings out the nicest and the terrible in both towns. Unnecessary to mention, the book is filled with humor, like a Tamil-speaking Sardar and vocal fights between Krish and Ananya mommies. The mockery used never fails.

In evidence, in some specimens, I was swiveling on the floor. Both protagonists are likable. While Krish juggles between his career and several cities in his try to unite the love of his life Ananya, she is sorting out the situation as her marriage is fixed with some different guy by her parents.

In all, this novel is the nicest of this author. He provides you with a clear viewpoint of existence in India. Though it is not a literary piece, the book is nicely written. People looking for intelligent things may not like it. But all romance-lover should go for it. The whole plot of the weddings between souls from two different regions and their cultural differences have been very fascinating portrayed.

The book problems the prevalent discrimination in India and how couples like Krish and Ananya have strived for a wedding.

My View:

The book implicates a wonderful story of a pair belonging to two severe states of India. The story is understood to be the real-time love story of the book author Chetan Bhagat and his better half. The novel is sentimental and fascinating to read, as it implicates mesmerizing chemistry between the pair and their battle to turn their love into a healthy marriage.

It implicates humorous factors as well. The writer has adequately depicted the actual scenario of Indian Society when it comes to the wedding of two people belonging to severe communities. Despite living in conservative families, both households eventually agree on the marriage. Barely it is core in all emotions.

My rating for the book is 5/5
