I was so passionate about food, I wanted to be a chef but went to a law college for my higher education. So during lockdown instead of wasting my time, I decided to follow my passion and I started posting content on my Instagram.
I used to watch the content of some famous food bloggers and took inspiration from them and started creating content my own way.
Tell us about your background and journey.
I am Khushi Agarwal 19years old from Narnaul (Haryana) currently living in New Delhi for my higher studies. I am pursuing BBA LLB from BVIMR, New Delhi. I am a big foodie so I started my food page @that.foodygirl_ (on Instagram) for fun as my love for food is endless.
When did you first decide that you wanted to create digital content and how did you start?
My passion for food made me start my food blog in my first year of college and I started focusing on it during the lockdown. I made my instagram account @that.foodygirl_ and started posting my daily meals and some home recipes.
Are vlogging and digital content creation a financially sustainable career?
Vlogging and content creation is definitely a financially sustainable career but it takes a lot of hard work and dedication before you get to the stage where you’re able to earn. (I am still not there)
How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?
I was so passionate about food, I wanted to be a chef but went to a law college for my higher education. So during lockdown instead of wasting my time, I decided to follow my passion and I started posting content on my Instagram.
I used to watch the content of some famous food bloggers and took inspiration from them and started creating content my own way. I made friends who started motivating me and never allow me to look back.
What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring digital creators?
I would like to tell them to have patience. “Patience” is the key. Be real, Create content, post religiously. Don’t buy followers it’s pitiful just believe in yourself. Don’t wait for that perfect shot just start posting. Once you start creating content you’ll know the direction.
