My art journey was started when my mom motivated me to join the Kathak Nritya and over the period of time art grows and I myself decided that I will never leave my art of dancing, acting, and modeling!
1. Tell us more about your background and journey.
I am born in Gujarat and I am a Gujarati girl! But after the 12th standard, I shifted to Pune for my education! So by education, I am a respiratory therapist ( medical) and done my MBA from symbiosis international university!
I started learning Kathak dance when I was in 3rd standard, my art journey started in childhood only!
Slowly I grew more into dance and live shows and from 2017 I won the miss Gujarat 2017 title and I step into the Modeling world! After that, I won miss Pune 2018 and started shoots with different brands like max, Reeva, style, etc.
Currently, I have been nominated for Pune Icon 20-21 awards, and with that going ahead in the acting field and influencing too.
I am coming from a middle-class family and in the Saurashtra area, it was difficult for me to stand for my art and make others understand that what exactly I am doing! But the journey of coming from a small town to step up into Pune and develop the talent, learn And struggle, the whole journey is all about taking experience, appreciation, and constantly learning new things!
2. When did you decide you wanted to be an artist?
Actually, my mom motivated me a lot for going ahead in art and doing something new! My mom is a painter so she knows the value of art in our life. So it was not about I decided to go into the art field but when u start learning something ur journey already started from there itself!
My art journey was started when my mom motivated me to join the Kathak Nritya and over the period of time art grows. And I myself decided that I will never leave my art of dancing, acting, and modeling!
I would love to add one more thing here that with art, education is also very important! With artistic skills, a good education should be taken for the development of personality, making decisions, the value of humanity, equality, development of our own self, and mental stress management! So with art, education is equally important!
3. Is it a financially stable career?
I really understand that in today’s scenario to become financially stable is very important but if I say, yeah sometimes we face difficulties getting work, to get opportunities, and earn! So in the art field, we cant earn like a full-time employee but nowadays artists are getting good payments, depending on projects and work!
4. What piece of advice would you like to give to future aspiring artists?
For the future aspiring artist, I would love to say that don't compare yourself with anyone, believe in your work, and don't ever try to pull legs to get work! Help others to help yourself, mentally support each other's, your time will come, your all hard work will pay off and never leave an art! Art will fulfill your further life with confidence, kindness, and happiness! So always do your best work and believe in god and wait for the best results.
5. What is your mantra of success?
My mantra of success is a “Never give up” attitude! Whatever you face, whatever you experience anything bad, failure, criticism, bad comments, negative vibes, everything is just temporary! One thing that is permanent is “you” and your “talent “ and “education “. And that will definitely lead you to success!
