Tell us about your background and journey.

I am 24 years young female from Kolkata (WestBengal). I have completed my higher education and then I joined as a DTP the operator at Midbrain Academy and had a great experience for six months where I got to learn a lot. 

Later, I joined Den Fitness Studio as a manager and worked there for 18 months but had to quit the job as the pay was not satisfactory. I can speak and write two languages - Hindi and English. It was during the lockdown last year that I discovered my love for blogging. Now, I want to take this forward as my career.



What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?

During the lockdown last year I wasted 3 months thinking about what to do next as I had quit my job. Since I am a food lover, I decided to
try out blogging just for fun. I started my Instagram page in the name of agnithaliaurswad in the year 2020. To my surprise, I was approached
to promote a beauty product, and then I started getting more collaborations. This is when I took blogging as a career as I found a way to earn
for myself.
Now I am a food and lifestyle blogger.


Is it financially sustainable to be a beauty blogger today?

Yes, it is financially sustainable. The companies give us an opportunity to earn through campaigns and offer us to host giveaways. We are
offered a Barter/paid collaboration of products. We have a choice to keep or resell the product.


What do you look for in a brand before collaborating with them?

The first thing that comes to my mind before collaborating with any company is that how genuine and reliable they are and go through the
reviews are given by the customers.


How can someone become a successful beauty blogger?

To gain success as beauty bloggers, we need to keep ourselves updated about the industry. We need to put up content that is trendy, relatable,unique, and that keeps engaging my followers. 

One needs to put high-quality images to let your account grow enormously. Last but not the least, it is important to be true to yourself.
