Samskruthi & Jai Suveer - We Started Our Page Out Of Passion & Love For Food, We Started Getting Good Responses And Now We Are A Family Of 22K On Instagram (Food Bloggers, India)

Passion can be a career as well but one needs to be consistent.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

Food Journey of two depressed friends!

We both were classmates in our PU College. Later during our engineering days (back in 2018), we started our food page without any plan. We randomly created a page started posting pictures. We started it with just passion and our love for food.

Soon we started getting good responses and we are now a family of 22K on Instagram. Also when we hear street vendors telling us that their business has improved after our visit.. We feel everything is worth it!

2. Which is your favourite cuisine and dish?

Suveer: French, South Asian and masala dosae. Samskruthi: Indian, Middle eastern and Biryani.

3. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?

Passion can be a career as well but one needs to be consistent.

4. Which restaurants/food joints would you recommend to food lovers?

We highly recommend small business and local street vendors.

5. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and talk about it on your blog?

Each dish is different in its own way. We just cannot appreciate one dish.

6. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

Gobi Manchurian.

7. Which is your favourite book and why?

My experiments with truth. It gives a new think towards life and it teaches us to speak the truth and not to harm anyone.

- Jai Suveer Jain (Software Engineer & Food Blogger)

A passionate food blogger born and have pursued graduation from Hassan, currently working as a software engineer at Namma Bengaluru. Being a technophile today I see the power of social media from my page. Discovering the world through food has always been a passion for me and I tend to count on it.

It all started when I was more into chat streets than my lecture hours which passionated me more towards blogging about food and explore the art of taste. The aroma of food made me more epicure coping up with a beneficial thought of posting pictures of food over social media and have been ended up here as the tagline of Hassan Foodies.

We at Hassan Foodies believe that mutual love for food can bring different people together. And also to add on I wish Hassan Foodies will probably grow to great heights looking forward to open the delicious gates of our own cafe which serves the best food for the people in town.

- Samskruthi Manjunath (Entrepreneur & Food Blogger)

I’m Samskruthi from Hassan, Karnataka. I’m an alumni of Kendriya Vidyalaya and Government Engineering College, Hassan. I held a keen interest in HandbalI during my school & college days. Gradually our page started to grow slowly and we were happy to see the good response from the other end which inspired me to start a new personal page of mine named slushberry.in where in I make homemade chocolates and I'm much satisfied with the client’s feedback and I love doing this and yes I knew that I won't fit into the corporate world!
