keep Keep keep going because these are all signs from the universe you know. If these nice opportunities are coming your way then there's a lot more for you enough than that in the future. So don't stop and do what you were doing.
First I would like to formally introduce myself by saying Hi! I am Veer Gidwani. I am 17 years old, I stay in Bombay and I am currently studying in college and I always had this kind of interest in putting myself out there on social media.
I just happened to be a really outgoing person and this basically happened because of my outgoing personality, love talking to new people, love entertaining people, love cracking a lot of jokes and making everyone laugh and that's what made me feel like maybe I should start putting myself out there on the internet and I just felt that I didn't need any push because it was just my personality trait and I was confident with myself so I thought maybe let's give it a shot and this all started on TikTok.
Of course, my account was doing really well on TikTok and then when it was banned I was left heartbroken obviously because it was like a part of my daily routine now. So then I already had a page on Instagram but I would never post any content over there.
Then Instagram came up with reels and that motivated me to not stop because being a content creator, I always knew that I am deeply interested in and would love to you know be really big in the industry one day.
So that was the motivation for me to start posting the reels. I can entertain everybody and all of my close friends and even people who are not close just to bring a smile on their face with my sense of humour that passes on a positive message and makes someone's day.
So as of now, I haven't experienced any huge amount of money coming my way but in the future, I do see myself doing ads and being sponsored by big brands because I believe I have the motivation and the talent and the determination to go for it.
So I feel like someone who truly wants to do it, can, but I would suggest keeping a backup in academic skills as I feel academics are always first before anything.
So that is my point of view, a lot of people might be having different points of view but academics is important that's why you cannot neglect that but when it comes to the pay as you know when you're a digital creator, it is it's not as easy as it seems to have to take a lot of shots, a lot of videos.
Sometimes the brand rejects and sometimes they accept. So you have to listen to them and provide the best content possible.
How can someone become a successful content creator?
There is no secretive success I feel. It's like the journey is different for everybody but what every successful content creator has in common is the real passion and the love for creating videos, one can't just make it to be famous, you are doing it because you love it and if you love something you end up doing it and you end up being good at it because you have the sense of passion, you always thinking in the sense that you know, you're not looking for content in everything that happens in your day to day life.
These ideas just naturally pop up, that Oh I could make content on this, It is hilarious, people would love it, they will laugh, they will relate to it. So you should be consistent with what you are doing, you have to be consistent with posting, you have to like doing what you're actually doing and you're supposed to start being around people who support you with what you are doing.
Sometimes initially you do need that moral support which I had from my friends and family and I am very grateful for that. So yeah, that's what you need.
How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?
I did mention earlier, seeing everybody, being confident enough to put themselves out there on tik tok and then slowly moving on to Instagram reels made me feel like I mean I was like if they can do it, why can't I, I mean I love doing this too so maybe to make, I wouldn't say I like to make a career out of it but since I started off as passion slowly but when like big brands approach you, it feels like a sense of motivation, like you are doing well.
keep Keep keep going because these are all signs from the universe you know. If these nice opportunities are coming your way then there's a lot more for you enough than that in the future. So don't stop and do what you were doing. That's where I got my inspiration from.
Who is your favourite creator and why?
There are a lot of content creators out there but I would say personally, one of my favourite ones is Dev Raiyani. He recently got verified on Instagram and that's very cool. He totally deserves it because he is one guy I feel like has the same personality as me.
I don't know him personally but I feel like he has the same personality as mine on Instagram as well as off Instagram. He doesn't portray himself to be someone he is not and I find his humour, sense of humour very funny, I relate to it, so I find him genuinely funny and he also talks about life's important topics and spread positive messages which are very impressive because he is using his platform for such a good thing.
He also makes music and it is very inspiring, making music is super cool and to have the confidence to do that is not easy and I do respect them for that.
Which is your favourite book and why?
My favourite book is definitely 'The Secret'. It talks about the law of attraction and the power of manifesting and how you can create your entire reality using your thoughts and I find it super cool as it tells every single person has the power to create their own reality to create their own destiny just by positive affirmation that positive thinking and by creating a vision for yourself in your mind.
I mean a lot of ways you can do it if you look at YouTube, but reading that book has changed my mind and I can see that I am creating my own destiny with my thoughts and I could see how it working so amazingly well for me when it comes to study, social media, relationships and all of those opportunities they just come my way, this flow in my life easily because I am so positive about that and I believe that it's gonna come and the basic principle is to ask, believe and receive and as long as you believe you can trust yourself and trust the universe which is going to come to you. So yeah that is my favourite book for sure.
